carguy Report post Posted August 23, 2008 after nine years of paying my dues i finally arrowed a buck! running late to my set up as usual i caught some movement.although i was chasing the ghost i see a little muley comming down the trail! no other bucks with him just him,me and a lil ole pine tree.i ranged him at 88 yards. waited as he took a few steps,i took a few steps myself and settled my 70 pin on him and let it fly.smaaack!!!! he hunched up and bolted like lightning i fought the urge for exactly one hour to the second before makin my way to where he was standin last.low and behold theres my arrow covered with the frothy red stuff!!!! i was so pumped i almost puked! got on his trail that the rage broadhead was so generous to leave and in 50 yards i finally have my hands on some velvet!!!! i know you guys are wanting the big rack stories but after 9 seasons of almost this little 2x2 just made me the happiest fella in the woods! sorry for not havin the pics up but october i posted pics of my cousie also a 2x2 and i got in trouble with amanda!!!! it is soo hot out there i was afraid for my meat so i high tailed it back to florence home by noon. i will post the pics the shower and an email to amanda so i dont get into trouble again! good luck everyone. But if you want them posted in the photogallery you have to email them to me with the details. Otherwise they are only in the forum, which is fine if that's what you want.
