Some good ones

Recommended Posts

Unfortunatly not by my bow....It was blistering hot here in So Az. I was glassing ridges in 34A Santa Ritas and didn't last past 1:00. I glassed my tail off. Thought for sure I would catch one bedded in the shade and make a sneak but no luck......How do you guys deal with the heat...hiding in the shade by water.....staying home and relaxing??

Like someone else mentioned in another post, that big red "S" on my chest has faded  , I don't hunt the desert in August, too dang hot for me, but my hat is off to those of you that chase those little buggers in this heat. Best of luck. I am headed up to the high country over labor day to chase bear and turkey.

I hunted the Ritas for 4 solid days last year. It was one of the most uncomfortable grueling hunts ever. I learned a lot about hunting in August and it's brutal hot, bugs ,snakes and yes we did see deer , but never got a shot. I'll be @ 8200 feet tomorrow morning. I changed my tactics , I'll let you know how I do.

You people are way to quick to jump to conclusions. I never said it was Grongs buck, he just sent me the pic. It looks like a real pig from the tiny pic on my phone!
