Edge Report post Posted April 28, 2021 Before dad became an owner/operator in trucking he drove for Haskell Linen, now Mission Linen. In the late '50s thru the mid '70s he drove a route collecting those hand towels plus rugs and shop rags from every saloon, commercial kitchen and mine from Tucson to Nogales. Then it all had to be sorted and counted before being delivered to the plant laundry. I honestly don't recall him getting sick. In fact, he lived into his 90s.

A friend's dad, Charley Glenn, was a supervisor for Haskell Linen in Tucson. If he was anywhere close by on his days off, he would always swing by the plant on South Park to "see how the boy's were gettin' on". You're Dad probably knew him.
