Keep that dream alive dude.

 

These where taken at my initial site we call stand 1 or the Grizzly stand.

My partner swear we did not build the stand high enough.And I told the excitment would be better this way.And do you know we never got a chance to hunt this stand.

Thats a 55 gallon poly drum I use for sizing bears.

Im beginning to wonder myself if the stand is only 6 foot off the ground maybe we ought to triple that? :)

Altho here in Alaska you cant hunt Grizzly off a bait station,so we had to stop baiting this site to wait for the Grizzly to start chasing Moose calves before we went back in there.And not to mention with no less than 6 grizzlies in here we did not want to take a chance.Hope this fuels your dream my friend.Daniel Cochise County Naitive thru and thru.

Call me a big wussy but there aint no way in HE!! i would be in 6' high treestand with them big bears around............................not even with a rifle!

lol! Thats actually 3 different Grizzlies.!st pic was a sow coming in real edgy.#rd and 4th picture is the reason why,a big boar was hanging out and ran her off and thats her agian in the 5th picture.The last three/four is another BIG boar.The two big boars totaly avoided each other.

 

 

 

 

 

Call me a big wussy ! Hahahhaa hey you gave me permission to call you that.I'll let you know If Im a wussy next year,cause the bow is coming out on this stand.There's a six and a half/seven foot Black bear in here also Im after.

I just saw my first two Grizzly bear at Yellowstone NP a few weeks ago. They sure are impressive animals! Thanks for sharing the pic's.

:o Daniel you are the man! I love those pics! I love how you can realy see the hump on that boar's back in the last two pics. That is really great man! Best of luck to you on your hunt! Thanks for sharing and keep them coming!

Dudette! :) I actually have pictures of bigger bears than that. And like I said my stand is only 6 foot off the ground.

6' up in a tree stand....that ain't nothing! They are only Brown bears....jeeeeez.
