So I've had this deer on one of my parcels of land for at least the past 5 years(I have trail camera pictures dating back to 2019). I've never seen her/him during the day as 99% of the pictures I have are right around midnight. I did, however, have her come through last night right after 5:00 pm so I know she's still alive. I found one of it's sheds that I'm assuming is 2-3 years old. I'm curious what you guys think it is? True Hermaphrodite or pseudohermaphrodite?

I’ve decided to sell my best of the west signature series/ Texas edition. I’m the original owner and have put 25 rounds through it including a couse at 570 yards. It has the Huskemaw 5-20 with 2 turrets. Comes with 15 rounds of best of the west 7mm 180 grain Bergers and a nice hard case. It has a few scratches on the stock from my deer hunt, but shoots amazing and I’m asking less than 1/2 of what they are going for new. $4800 located in Mesa AZ.

My fifteen year old son Bryce has not only notched 20 big game kills already, he is now a young entrepreneur. STO evolved to cure the Covid lockdown boredom when we shot family outdoor themed videos for his new Sportsmens Tradition Outdoors YouTube channel. Then he designed a logo, sold hats, and started to build his website, Facebook, and Instagram pages. STO GameStop was the next step in his vision and he currently does timely and fair prices Euromounts while offering several options. A few you can view below. He wants to evolve into Taxidermy and Processing, as well as becoming a guide. As of now he is getting stuff out in one week but I have not opened the floodgates yet. If you are in need of getting a euro mount completed, give us a shout.

This seems pretty stupid thing to do. I think the hunters where lucky to get just a 300 slap on the wrist. Pretty sure they could of been charged with smuggling goods which is 5 years and 10 grand. Also guess cbp could seize their trucks. Reading the links show they tried hiding the hides in their truck.

Hey guys new here. I am in search of a used Optima v2 muzzle loader 50 caliber. Does anyone have one they are trying to sell by any chance? Thanks!!

These are very handy for keeping game clean(and your kitchen) while processing. They will easily fit a full elk quarter. This is the same material that the white cutting boards used in most homes are made from but are bigger and thicker. They are approximately 24" x 48"and are 5/8"-3/4" thick. They will last a lifetime. Makes an awesome bench top too. Easy on knife edges and easy to clean. These are remnants from large sheets. They've been cut on a table saw and have square corners, somewhat sharp edges, and somewhat rough edges. If it matters to you, sand it. $40.00 each. I have quite a few. I'm near Bass Pro. Jeff

Well no elk tag so I figured I’d get my mind off of it by working up a new load for deer/antelope sized critters and I’m trying to decide what bullets to try. I like two holes so I’ve always shot partitions or Barnes but I’m thinking of extending my range a little to maybe 400 or 500 yards. I planned to use the TTSX since they shoot so well, but I won’t have enough velocity beyond about 350 yards to know for certain that I’ll get good expansion. Partitions don’t group as well for me at the longer distances. After doing some reading and researching I’m finding good info on the Hornady ELD X and Berger. Sounds like Bergers generally explode on impact which gives great results if you hit in the ribs, but less consistent results if you’re a little far forward into the shoulder. The ELD X is pretty new so I mostly find info about accuracy, but not a lot of detail about performance on game. Although what I have found about on game performance has been mostly very positive. Do any of you have recommendations for a solid performer for these conditions? I might have enough points in the next year or two to hunt the strip which was another reason I was thinking about Barnes but I’d want something that I know will expand as the velocity drops off. If it performed well on elk that would be nice, but not my main focus right now. Another plus to the ELDX is they cost about the same as standard rounds so I could afford to practice with my actual hunting load. Thanks for any input!

Hey all, Hope i'm posting this on the right section.... I've been hunting for 13 years now, taken two deer over that time. This past weekend during our muzzleloader season, I was hunting a distant relative's property for the first time. One other gentleman was hunting there as well whom I actually bumped into on my way through the woods. Around 8:30am, I had a line of doe come through and I placed a shot on the largest one I saw. About 60 seconds later I heard a shot presumably from the other hunter. As I got up to track the doe, I came upon him standing with the deer down about 50 yards from where I had shot. My shot was a little far back, puncturing the diaphram and grazed the stomach from what I could tell. (Maybe a bit of lung? There was a pretty heavy bright blood trail) His shot was on the spine at the base of the neck. We were both unsure what to do next. After a friendly conversation, dressing the deer together, and some hem and hawing, I decided to offer up the deer for him to tag. Seems that this is a coin toss situation. Some people I talk to say first blood should take the harvest (within a reasonable distance), others say kill shot. I'm curious of your folks' input!
