Up for sale is a Remington model 660 chambered in 308 win. Rifle is topped with a cheap, yet clear, 3-9 x 32 Tasco, 1 piece base and 1" rings. Trigger guard/base plate has slight bow in it, common with these models, but not as bad as many that I have seen on GB. Action has been bedded and barrel floated. Rifle has no rear sight, which is how I received it. If you reload, she loves 180gr Accubonds, gets along very well with 165gr Accubonds and Scirocco II's, and prefers H4831sc over both IMR and H4350. Never had the need/chance to try any Alliant powders or other bullets, so I cannot comment on those. Rifle has been a brush/horse/truck gun at home in the Rockies all its life. As such, it has some of the most unique scratches, dings, dents and scrapes you've seen in a long, long time. You will not win any beauty pageants or benchrest competitions with her, but she has a nasty habit of dropping animals in their tracks with the above load, especially in the hands of a youth or new hunter. Will throw in a partial box of 150gr Win. power points for some early range time. Asking $550 for this reliable work horse.
