  1. Opening weekend of rifle season I harvested my 2015 rifle buck (104 inch 5x4 ) and my best buddy harvested a buck with his bow I was off work so I took my 13 year old " camping" and glassing deer. I glassed up a tank so I called a friend with a rifle tag in that unit. The next morning he came out and we relocated the buck. After 4 hours he decided to pass!!! Two days later he decided to go have another look..... Glad he did... He harvested the buck and it scored 112 with 5 inches broken off. I went home for the holidays then back out to help a friend hunt his Dad (70), and Mother (65) We glassed up a buck for Dad on the first day and he made a great shot! The next morning was Moms turn. We glassed many deer and she was able to make a one shot kill with a 300 wsm ( my favorite) at 367 yards It has been a great run; wish I could do it all year long!! I am worn out, and need to restock the havalon blades!!! Whitey
