    Bow hunting turkey: which points to use

    Airbusdriver posted a topic in The Campfire

    I want to try the early turkey hunt using a bow. I was wondering if broad heads are the best tool for the job? Also, since I've never done an early (late summer) turkey hunt, what is the best way to hunt them? Since they're not in the rut, I assume that calling would be useless. Is it best just to stalk near a treeline/meadow border? Any info (and general locations, i.e. hunt units) would be appreciated.
