Ok boys and gals. I am really excited for my daughter’s first deer hunt! She will turn ten the first week of October next year. This year Santa brought her a new rem 700 ADL 243. Most, my wife, say I am way too excited because I got the rifle a full year in advance. I think it is important so she can become very good at her first center fire hunting rifle if we are going to chase big game with it. I ended up getting a non-youth model because I figured that would be what she would be using most of the time. Plus the extra barrel length only helps too.
I am hoping to find a second stock so I can cut it down. It will have to be cut down quite a bit because my daughter is petite. Wood preferred but only to make it a ‘traditional’ looking rifle.
Thanks!!!!
