Mr. J, I can honestly say that I never have and never will walk away from a head that I find (although I have only found a 1/2 Dozen in my whole life).... I look at it like this: 1) It does no one any good laying out there in the woods.... and the next guy that finds it will pick it up! 2) I have clear conscience that I personally had nothing to do with the death of the animal. 3) 50% of the time I can deduce exactly what probably happened to the animal and 50% of the time it will remain a mystery... 4) If it does still have hair on and I run into one of the WM's before I get the hair off.... then I will explain my find and take them to the location that I found it.... If they don't like what they see then they can confiscate it and it will be sold at auction. Still better than rotting away to nothing out in the woods. 5) IMO, very few of the WM's are interested in confiscating your P/U head.... so just don't give then a reason too..... I mean, "don't ask, don't tell" Kind like the three S's if you know what I mean.... 6) Remember that you really have nothing to hide..... and if a head gets confiscated you still have the pics and the memorries! BTW.... Nice find! Congrats!

cmc, I am with you, man! i have tried on a bunch and just can't make up my mind.... and can't get all the boots together in one place to really try them out. The best two so far for me have been: Lowa Renegade...... but it will be too weak for the heavy loads of packin' meat... I am not a light framed guy. Vasque Wasatch GTX Hiking Boots ..... good boot and I may buy it.... jury is still out...

Well I found Vasque Wasatch GTX Hiking Boots on Amazon.com for $132.00 dollars!!!! ($30-50 less than anywhere else I looked!) So I was gunna order them....... ... Then they asked if I wanted to save $30.00 on this purchase by getting the Amazon Rewards Card.... I thought....hmmm.... a no fee rewards card, save 30 bucks, I have a great credit score (mid/high 700's)... a No Brainer... Right??? WRONG!!! They then tell you that the credit card app must be reviewed... and they will get back with you in 2 weeks!!!! Please continue shopping!!!! Hold the phone Brother.... what about that $30 discount... no can do!! But we are happy to put another credit search on your credit report! I can't even get the dirty SOB's to stop the cedit card!!! You are more than welcome to close the account as soon as you get the cards in the mail, Sir... Not to mention that when you call Amazon.con on the phone to talk to someone they are some frickin' camel jocky that you can't understand!!! I will Never buy from Amazon.con, EVER!!! I was in the N. Phx. store yeserday.... what a joke.... They have NO good hunting apearel that fits!! If you are not 3x, 2x, or a midget (sorry.... kids), you are not gunna find anything that fits!!! And the ammo selection was pathetic!!! It was the FIST time I have ever walked out of any hunting store without spending a dime!!! Couldn't find what I wanted in there.... .... went next foor to Costco and helped the Wife spend $$$ in a store that has merchandise!

That's cause they were looking at nothing but dinks...... Hey, Josh.... what are horns going fo a pound this year???? I heard less than EVER ....maybe I'm wrong. Well, I will admit that I personally know of 3 single smallish browns being picked up total by some of the better shed hunters that I know, combined..... and the second sides were not found.... Lots of bulls are packin' and the bulls are already scattered to hellngone cuz everyone thinks/hopes horns are gunna be worth something this year and is out there pushing them... ....gotta be the first one into the country!!!! Here is the only brown, not attached, we have seen yet.... boy was it big!

Actually a couple of smart guys that I know went Glassing yesterday... ya know, rather than scatter the bulls all to hellngone, by stumbling around in the woods.... .... and all the bulls they saw were still packin'..... FYI!
