Man that sucks!! That is crap! ....sorry that you guys had such a crappy trip, but congrats on the buck you shot, I hope you took lots of pics! Did the "outfitter" ever tag and ship you your deer? I guess a guy would have to re-evaluate his Circle of Friends after a referal/"hook-up" like that! We got jacked like that on my first trip to AK so I completely feel your pain! However all you can do is is find the silver lining... I only remember the best parts of that trip now, years later.... the hardest part was thinking..."Dang, if I had only paid $500 more dollars for that other outfitter!" Live and learn my friend! And I bet on the next trip you will do it ALL right! I know I did! There are some really good and reputable guys that guide/outfit down there and two of them have already been mentioned in this thread.... remember.... you most often get what you pay for! Besides there are just as good quality here in the States as old Mex has.... you just don't have much competion behind those locked gates down there... that is the biggest plus of Mexico hunts, IMO, limited competion. Honestly, I'd rather kill one right here! Best of luck this year!

Eric, Shoot the 168's... those bigger bullets will tear a 2"+ hole in the off side. The 168's will still blow through a coues or a mulie at 450 yds and in so emagine what the bigger bullets will do? I'll BS with you more about it this weekend. Here is the exit on a mulie shot a 420 with my 300 wby and a 168 vld.

I'm still waiting on the pedigree's if you dont mind. If you are just looking for a hunting dog I'd pay more attention to the possitive feed back that was posted... Pedigrees don't make a hunting dog.... they only matter if you plan to show or trial.... IMO.

I sure would love to own some of their clothing but honestly I can buy a lot of similar products for less $$$$...
