Congrats on a great tag.... I have been on the N or S early hunts every year there for the last 1/2 dozen years.... it never disappoints... One of the most Fun and Physically demanding hunts you can have IMO, but it is way harder than it used to be. We took the biggest bull taken in your hunt last year... and a couple of my favorites made it another year... so dream big! Best of wishes on your Hunt!

Not to trying to sound like a Smart A$$... but... live and let live... if you knowing go where y'all hunted together then you might "bump" into each other... Similar to running into each other at the mall... $h!T Happens... if you both act like adults then no harm, no foul... and no one even needs to know about it. The tone set by the comment about "staking out" some country sets the tone for Drama... self-imposed Drama. I bet you are gunna have plenty of competition on that hunt, from hunters you don't know and maybe one you do?? I'd be worrying about my game plan and how to WIN, not who I might run in to... JUST MHO...

Seems like a great price for a lot in there... seems like I have seen lots priced at over $100K in there at one point... I know the houses I built in there were on lots that were Way more money....

Call ALL the Outfitters... make them show you bulls from YOUR UNIT, LAST YEAR (and the 2 years previous) that they personally put on the ground for Clients (not personal bulls). It doesn't matter what an outfit killed in the past (4-10 yrs).... You are only as good as your last hunt (and the 2 previous show the trend)... Whether you spend the most or spend the least, you will likely get exactly what you pay for.... Congrats and Good Hunting!

I really Like this pod cast Jay!! The format and content were Great! Lots of awesome info and at the same time you incorporated answers to one of the biggest questions in AZ Hunting... "Who and What is A3 Trophy Hunts and where did they come from?" Knowing the 3 guys behind the magic at A3, I can tell you that they are some of the finest guys you can meet, talk to, or know in the AZ Hunting community! Thanks for sharing it!

The tripods are too pricey for me also... I have always preferred Velbon tripods... but their Pan Head is the best I have ever used.

If you knew anything about law or law enforcement you would know that it IS up to the digression and interpretation of the LEO... and Even Then we have a court system behind that to Dissect each instance individually. As Shane says above... try to take a truck or a travel trailer that has been "abandoned" by the definition of the Rule you so covet... I bet you land your self-righteous Arse in Jail for grand theft!! hahaha Stealing is stealing....PERIOD. If you have a problem with a camera, groundblind, treesatand, camp, vehicle, or other personal property of value that you "Believe" is abandon on Public land then I suggest you call someone with a badge, a gun, and the legal ability to do something about it... Otherwise... Stealing someone's stuff on public land could result in Murphy's law.... or Karma? Str8Shot, I have yet to talk to an LEO or WM that enforces the littering law as you define it... if they were, they would have used that law instead of the new baiting rules and actually WRITE tickets (that is how the law would be enforced, BTW). FYI, you're tuck is abandoned in the forest the instant you walk away from it... How far do you want the literal words to be taken? Your camp? Your backpack and lunch if you walk over the hill? Come on man... You are a $hit Starter and a Gawd Dam Hypocrite if you say you have never left anything that you own on the Forest... unless of course you never leave that keyboard and live vicariously through your Drama? I have found some cool stuff in the woods and cool stuff ain't trash, so it isn't mine to take... Period. Why this is even debatable I don't know... but if you find someone else's stuff in the woods and it is bugging you that bad, then have an LEO handle it... pick up a phone and call them!! Acting like a tough guy saving the forest by relieving others of their ground blinds, treestands, and cameras is nothing more than a smoke and mirrors version of a THEIF. Period.
