Congrats to all the kids... nothing better than hunting for the kids....cuz its about the memories, not the inches! Congrats to all! Probably shouldn't let the cat out.........but..... Can't wait to see some field photos of Ed's Jan. buck!!! These phone pics floatin' around don't do it justice compaired to the Score.....36" of mass?? Guess I'll have to order some concrete so I can see it.... Huge Congrats on that.... Ed is one of those guys that has Dam sure paid his dues on taggin' a buck like that! -

Prayers sent... such a sad and disturbing story... A man who gave all to his community.... and asked so little in return.... taken by those who only take.... the scum of the earth... God Bless the loved ones of Lt. Shuhandler and may he rest in peace. Can someone Please tell me why those sorry excuses for human life made it to a hospital??? They do not deserve to live....

Good Show... theyare not as good live as say Disturbed or Godsmack.... but they were pretty good! the kids all had a ball! I crawled in to bed at about 1:30 AM.... that sucked!

Coues 'n' Sheep replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Contests and Giveaways!
Alrighty! I actually did not guess... I tried to add everything up... that is the first time I've done that on one of these guess the score deals so I bet i'm even further off than usual! 123 5/8 Gross -
Must be Africa Now how would you have ever guessed that, DB??? I'm gettin' the itch bad.. Two trips across the big drink this year for me. 1st one in May to South Africa and then back again in Oct to Zimbabwe. 3 months and counting.. Gino, you'll have a great time.. Gotta let me know what concession you're heading to. I'm guessing Chewore North or Dande North. Dande North, Scotty... CM Safaris??? Hope they are good..... I have a few more questions that I'll be emailing you about. Thanks for all your advice.

Hello and Welcome!

HaHaHa... Mike you crack me up! Well my phone rang a month or so ago and a good friend who I have hunted with in the past asks me if I’d be interested in videoing a his upcoming Zimbabwe hunt? I was speechless! “…ah… well…ah… well, I think Absolutely…. But I gotta know more…”, was my lame response. He laughed and said, “I expected that from you…. You want details. HaHa!” Then he began to tell me that he had booked a Big 4 hunt (Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, and Elephant) last year and the more he thought about the hunt and being in the African back country for 23 hunting days, the more he thought that he wanted to have a hunting buddy to share the hunt with. He told me that if he hired a guy to video over there it would cost him as much as would to pay for me to tag along and that I could even shoot any plains game that I wanted to pay the trophy fees on for myself! The only expenses that I would be responsible for was my airfare and of course any trophy fees… even with the current state of the economy, and it being hard to spend any money at all on anything that is not a “need item”, I just could not say no to a 3 week safari in Africa. The thought of getting to be right there on a hunt that I would otherwise never in my lifetime be able to afford… a hunt that even Scottyboy described as his own personal Dream Safari…. It is just an opportunity that I could not say no to… and opportunity that my Wife told me I was not allowed to say no to…. So not wanting to jinx myself… I quietly began prep and after my buddy got back from the SCI show this weekend with the finalized details from his outfitter about my tagging along.. it was time to get air fare… he and I bartered some Alaska miles for my domestic flight and I bought a discounted flight from DC to Johannesburg, South Africa where I will meet my buddy, Ron, for the Remaining two flights that will put us deep into North Eastern Zimbabwe. So there is no turning back now! It is official… I’m going on the hunt of a lifetime on the Dark Continent in just over two months!! I am just sooo Stoked… Now I got get in shape… save some $$$ so I can bring home a critter or two…and learn how to be a videographer in 60 days or less! HaHaHa!

I have modified my own post, without any preasure or contact from any of the moderators, so as not to implicate any of the 3300+ members of this site.... I would never want to bring harm to an awesome web site like this where families and friends gather to exchange adventures.

I may just do that. I have left it up now for the sake of Ian and allowing people to appreciate his buck. There are always two (or more) sides to every story since and who ever knows the real truth since we all view this stuff through a perspective clouded by our own experiences. But fighting it out here in the forum does no one any good, and it robs Ian of a chance to enjoy sharing his hunt online. Amanda I'd respectfully remind everyone this is my story about Ian's buck told in my persective of how his hunt progressed and how it was handled... Ian has collaborated my story and this is about how his buck was taken. No one was named or singled out for the purpose of attempting to protray how the buck and story got his name... If had intended to defame anyone I'd have done so in a differnet thread.... Quite to the dismay of all who know me.... I have chosen not to do so for the sake for the quality content of this site. The issues that have arrisen do to this hunt can and will be handled in due time between adults...... and are not appropriate as content for this site. Those who object to my perspectives or my actions are more than welcome to point that out to me in any other form beyond this thread.... as this is Ian's thread for which I am the author. Thank You to all the members of this forum who have expressed kindness and congrats to a very deserving young man and have tried to see beyond the hostility and bitterness that is apparently behind the words that have been written. Ian... once again it was a Pleasure to get to hunt with you! Thank You. Gino Wullkotte (928)978-2900

Squeeeeek....Squeeeeeeeeek! Any outta state hunt that you can do for under 2K in cheap IMO..... Put in for the Oryx... it will take a few years to draw most likely... and that will give time to save a few more $$$. Also you need to get a US Airways FFplan going... then you can fly for free when you go to PA...
