Man that Freaks me Out!! Hate those lil' buggars! -
Bob...Bob...Bob....The only time you talk about 22 is when you are trying to deflect attention form your veryown 33!! BTW... There are not any "Gay" BAD BOY stickers in my windows and you will have to Listen for the FFDP music pounding out threw my windows (no sticker, couldn't find a good one at the show)! ....and only the Tuc-sans shoot Pretty Shite Equipment... no place for 2nd best in the High Country! ...and I never eat at the Notty (well almost never), but you might find B-dog there... And that is all there is in 22 these days is parking lots of hunters....more showing up each year.... but they hardly every get many of the good ones... Bob I swear I'm only putting in for 33 from now on so I can torment you Tuc-sans!

Having just returned from Africa this spring where I was using the "professional grade equipment of the day" as was the other camera man on the hunt...I was supplimenting with my $700.00 Sony HD handycam and the video quality is just as good however the sound was not.... But on a budget a top of the line HD handy cam will get you the quality for under a Grand..... Where the Proffesional grade will set you back about $3K to start. Costco, Cameraland, Fry's electronics....

It was the kid's first bull and scored just a shade under 345" (broke)... had over 16" broken off... the bull was a 360" plus bull for atleast two years that I know of.... He is the bull on the left in this picture... if that right horn was doubled he would have been a 380 class bull... still a wicked good bull for that unit, either way!

That is way I chose the other guy... Tired of both of those two!!

Doing alright for country trash
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to LAR DOG's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Way to go, Tat.... Great bucks for those first timers!!! Wack'um and Stack'um!! -
Well put. Been hunting the unit most of my life and it can be very rough... combining a quality hunt, with the hunters ability is what spells success in many units like this.... There are a lot of hunts and a lot of hunters in this unit, making it very tough to find "the One" and there are lots af average bulls but the Big bulls are not behind every tree and must really be worked for. We hunt our butts off to produce good bulls in that unit and it takes every resource we have often times to get it done. Here is a bull we took out of there on a late hunt not too far back. Knowlege, hard work, and patients paid off! Best of luck to you guys on the hunt.

The Hard Way, Lion Buck
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to Coues 'n' Sheep's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
Thank You Dale and Heather... The Mount, the Lion hide accents, the inspiration you drew form this story.... we all are greatful for your efforts and hard work in making the mount as memorable as the hunt was. It is the little things that make a difference.... Again, Thank You both sooo very much. -
Well, I have 2 Wildview cams that I have not been using this year so I figure I will sell them. They have been great cameras, no problems with them ever. and they both come with custom made Bear/security boxes... and I'll even through in a dozen batteries I just bought for them 2 weeks ago... I'd like $150 for the pair, FTF... too heavy to ship those boxes.

Jeff, Don't do it man... you let part of you die with it... Find the joy again, it is still out there waiting for you, Pal!
