There is a really good tannery back east that only deals with Taxidermists... I know would be sending it to Clay @ Mogolon Taxidermy or Dale at Wild Heritage or Chris Harlow & Devin Beck.... well actually I did with all my african stuff.

I've got a freezer full of pork fat from all the pigs my buddy raised this year... we will be putting it in all our elk/deer Burger and Sausage for the rest of the year....I kinda hord it because I have found that if I add 20% suet to my grind meat, my wife will use it like store bought burger... and if I don't it doesn't get eaten. Best of luck... If you know someone butchering home grown pigs that is the best you will find, IMO.

Not a chance... two is the limit...IMO. After that it is tyime to re-think your preparation, your equipment, and how to get better at what you are doing...

My 2011 Colorado Archery Deer & Elk Hunt
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to bear402's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
Excelent! Congrats and thanks for sharing!! -
What Doug said... I know the Geo's and zuki's are as small and manuveralble as a Ranger... they are just not as smooth and fast in the rough stuff. Down in the flat lands a guy can probly pick one up for a $2K'ish... and install a tow bar... Ranger's are still better but the cost is much more...I bought my 2011 and was OTD for about $14K... Good luck.

Welcome to the site... Just a heads up... on the www. everyone/anyone can read what you post. I'd recomend keeping where you scout and how well you did to yourself or send info by personal message... Free country, you can do it how you please, I am just sayin'... As to your question... The deer are where you find them... pick a spot that you like and pick it appart. In that lower country you will have high probablility of seeing more deer. Finding them in the higher country can be pretty tough at times... probly less deer too. On Fridays and Saturdays you can often find dear right in the town of Young at the Antlers or Valley Bar and also in Pumpin Center or Cactus Flats....

Hot Heads and Haters.... Perception is like looking through your binos.... it is often one dimensional until you hold really still and look at the whole picture... This sounds like a very unfortunate situation... I'd bet money that the only real foul here is the character assassination that the www. provides. Everyone loves to read the drama but no one gains from it but those who hate us hunters....
