Yeah Mike... all birds, most fish (carp didn't work out), and most red meats. Thanks!

I have owned 3 rangers... all were awesome... but each one was better than the last. Just bought a new 2016 and it is a fantastic machine!!

Trying to put together a trip to the Phoenix area, if anyone has some stuff they want to get rid of I'd like to swing by and grab it! Thanks!

The dogs really don't like Lion... one won't eat it all... I would guess Canine would be about the same and really don't wanna promote cannibalism... Hahaha. They don't mind bear meat though. Thanks guys. Any of you jackrabbit hunters? We like them! just throw them in the Freezer whole if you don't want them. Thanks!

Filled my 2015 lion tag! This is my 3rd spot and stalk lion in the last 10-11 years... and finally go me a good Tom! Pretty stoked to have also found this cat's last kill, a lil 3 pt coues... hoping Dale and Heather can incorporate the head into the mount! We glassed 9 lions from October thru the end of December... Time to go buy another tag!

No Casey, he has the whole thing... it is just so long that you can't see it from the camera angle...we didn't waste much time on pics.- 20 replies

Does Working Out Help You Hunt Better?
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to firstcoueswas110's topic in The Campfire
Not better.... probably easier though. I always have to laugh about all the "Training to Hunt" stuff.... I am always fat and out of shape... it has Never stopped me from killing good stuff, just sayin'.... -
Congrats to you Sir on your hunt success and on getting it done the way you set out to! Cheers!

Don't do it! Don't part with them...

Sheep hunt success in Northwest Arizona!
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Bighorn Sheep Hunting
Congrats to the guy on his Once in a Lifetime ram.... that is awesome to draw a tag after all those years of applying and have success.... I don't care who ya are that is a feeling like no other. Congrats... On a separate note.... Pretty sad that you guys smeared this thread. Coulda just started you're own and left his sheep alone, IMHO... Carry on as you see fit but every desert ram deserves recognition in my eyes. Good Hunting. -

Anyone know where I can find some 6.5x300Wby brass... I know it isn't slated to be released till 2016... but I am looking now....LOL. Merry Christmas to all!!!

Enjoy your hunt! Sounds like you are doing fine! I know a few guys I would want with me if I had your tag. I would say shoot an old ram... nothing more cool to me than age rings and heavy overlay. Good Hunting!

Bump for a nice rig and a nice guy

Congrats Houston! I love this write up... I have been there.... My dall hunt had the same ending and the same dashed hopes with a bow... The fear of one slip, one rock giving way, I nearly got hurt bad.... I can feel your emotions in your words and they are all true... but know this... the memories span a lifetime, and you gotta do some of these whilst you are young enough. Cheers, Pal! Thank You for sharing!!

Just cut it up into smaller pieces and pack it out... no such thing as: Not possible to pack out." Look up the "gutless method" of boning out an elk... usually plenty cold enough in the shade on that hunt to keep all the meat till you can make enough trips to get it all... hang the quarters, take the meat off the torso first critters might eat on the scraps but will leave the hanging quarters alone. Good hunting.
