OMG!!! I am soooo glad to hear that I am not the only one that get "the fever".... I get it bad on all Predators!!! I have missed 2 wolves (one @ 600 yds) in Alaska and missed my lion twice and got her with the third shot at 225yds. She never moved for all three shots!!! Major target panic!!! I learned that I have to aim way low, cuz I get so excited on them big predators!

Josh, I posted a pic of my lil' female (85lbs.+/-) on another thread about taxidermist. I am not sure which thread so I'll post a couple on here for you. Again the taxidermist is Mogollon Taxidermy... and I have to say that I have seen alot of cat mounts that have Really crappy facial features and mine looks "alive". Do your home work when you choose who is going to do the work.... look at other cats they have done. Good luck! And congrats again on a great cat!!

Jason it doesnt seem realistic and I thought the lodge owner was full of you know what when he said this but in all reality it was either a 5 hour boat ride from Anchorage with the 5 mile hike in or the 2 hour boat ride with the 5 mile hike in. There is no place to land a helicopter in the area also because there is to much brush. I really wish everybody could be standing in the middle of the creek there with the spruce and alders making a tunnel for almost a mile up that creek. Absolutely breath taking walking through it and the only openings to the creek are bear trails. I miss it already Man, that is awesome! Great story and cool pics! Keep em coming!!

Hey Kevin K, The only thing I can say about your last post would be to not choose your bow based on you local dealer.... .... You can order a bow from anywhere..... The BT bows are good, but if you like shoot long range or think that you might need to shoot long range, you should shoot there demo bow a bunch. If you can't shoot 1" groups at 20 yds with it.... you might want to see if you can shoot a 1" group at 20 yds with the XT..... Again just my $.02..... Good luck. CnS

Ok..... I've been a "smart apple" all morning, but now I have a serious question........................... I am looking to put a really good long range scope on my 300 Wby Mag. I like the Swaro TDS & TDS4 reticles, Swaro has a PV-S scope that has turrets...... Leupold has some good stuff out, but not as bright as the Swaro..... I have also been recomended to the Night Force scopes by several people that would should know what they are talking about. Does anyone have any personal experiance with long range shooting and what scopes arer you using for it??? How do they match up? Thanks, Gino

LMAO Coues 'n' Sheep keep me posted on that video! By the way, haven't seen any trash talking about Bowtech yet... I'm ordering a Guardian. Any thoughts?? Boat Anchors??? Yeah we liked Boat Anchor (bowtech) bows before they started building bows that have cams that are tweeked out of alignment at full draw..... .... Make sure that the modle that you are buying does not do that..... It scares the "soft serve" right out of me!!! We have had pretty good luck with bowtech at 50 yds and in...... they are tough to shoot down range. My $.02 worth.

I have been in construction most of my life building new homes for other people and I finally designed and built my own house last year. I have to tell you there is something special about living in a home that you thought up, or added imput on the design so it fit you better, and then built with your own hands. Congrats again! Seriously, I'm happy as heck for you guys....congrats! I'm gonna have you put ME in next year! It was pretty cool though..... my wife was even more happy that I drew than I was! God Bless that woman! They definitely ground checked some good critters....if 330-380 bulls and 170-210 mulies and 80+ muzzy 'lopes are considered "good" critters...oh I forgot to mention the dang coues bucks! And if you want to see most all of the critters I mentioned.....just pick up some back issues of Trophy hunter or Eastmans or get the next Trophy Hunter.....you'll see all of the critters I just spoke of! The Noble family are great people.....they deserve their good fortune! Hey C+S......you got a good woman there Sweet. I love to see good tags get filled with good critters!!!!!! Hey guys. I have really enjoyed all the info and shop talk. And am now closer than ever to making a scope choice...... I have found something new. Have any of you ever seen or used a Huskemaw Optics scope??? Is offered through Gunwerks.... basically The Best of the West company and is really set up for hunters.... The scope is made by the same company that produces the Night Force scopes..... has a reticle designed for windage... and comes with a factory installed "zero stop", which is only available to police and military with Night Force...... and is priced at under a grand. Hey, I just wanted to point something out........ I know that not all cards are the same, but with my card I have to speak to a Real person in order to find out my current status. I just checked on line and I have no recent activity.....but I have an available credit that is $228.00 less than my maximum credit line ... (I never use this card, except for tags). My point being..... If you have not had any "Hits" and have not talked to a "live one" you may need to call in again and talk to a person. The lady I talked to last night told me that I was up to the minute on my transactions... (1 for $228.00).... but the audomated and online both show zero ballance or activity.... You all probaly know that, but just in case........
