Thank You, Jim. It has been nice to atleast hear other side to the story. Your patients is remarkable considering the ranting and raving we have done on here. I have several friends that are WM's and they are just like you.... trying to make the best they can out of the situations at hand. It is not the guys (and gals) in the field that are truely responsible for making these things happen.... you all do the work and are often over rulled by the Powers To Be... Many WM's that I know are just like us... trying to preserve the Holy Grail of the West....Arizona's trophy hunting. But, all the people at the top are only interested in the "one dimensional" models and stats that come across their desks.... and are not looking at this state as a Three Dimensional reality. You can survey and get any results you want if you word the questions right..... And this whole over lap deal is a joke.... I mean Really.... You can't tell me that no one bothered to think about having to "tweek" on the deer hunt dates as well as the elk hunt dates to make this thing work??? It almost seems like a classic..... "Okay, you want it????? You got it!!! Now what????" Duped by the desk jockies.... again! None the less, Jim, thanks for the block of time you have spent with us on here. I ,for one, appreciate and respect the hard work done in the field by AZGF Wildlife Managers and the Biologists. But will not respect or trust the judgement & work done by the decision makers behind the closed doors of the AZGF. I just really believe their agendas are NOT as solid as the AZGF of years past once was. And frankly, I feel quite helpless about it......

It's really not that big, Casey.... I designed and built this house around that living room. It is 18 x 20 and has 12' tall side walls and is 18'+ ft. at the peak inside. The rest of the house is Very normal in size and shape. And thanks for the compliment. I added the shelf in as we built and then gave my Taxi the measurements to be sure it fit up there. That pose is how she was standing,stalking two does we were watching, when I shot her.

You better find a really good woman..... not only does she need to want to hunt a little, but she also has to like lots of "dead stuff" on the walls..... oh, and she has to like letting you spend more money at the Taxi then she does at shopping.... I'll bet you money that guys like Jim and Scotty have awesome wives, too.... cuz their homes are well decorated with great trophies!! It is truely all about the woman..... Scotty, I must say..... that monkey...... must have dated too many good girls in high school.... made his boys look like that all perminent!!!

You all have seen most of these mounts on different threads but this how they are arranged in our trophy room. I designed our living room for the purpose of being a home for our mounts..... I should have made it bigger, but we still have some room.

Tell them I am sorry about almost running over them in the road. We had a dog out and were trying to get to him before dark. We only saw two tracks the whole trip but the Kaibab is the only place you can go and see 10 mule deer in a day so it was nice! ha ha The bugs were terrible though. Was your brother in law in a new white dodge with real nice aluminum dog boxes, plus a guy following in a toyota tacoma? Yeah, I'll claim the guy in the Tacoma.......as for the guy in the Dodge.....well............ My Bro-n-law was driving the Tacoma. JIM> Bah HaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!! Chicken!!!!! I'm gunna tell!!! Man.... that is tuff... Bet you've stretched your leg kickin' yourself in the arss.... for passin' up that bull! Same genetics in there for sure.... I agree that 1 & 3 are the same and I'm at about 360"-370" on him and I think that the #2 bull is about 350"-355"+....unless the pics are way deceiving, you may have really messed up.... Bull #2 is wider, & longer on the bottom... the only thing that makes #1-3 better is that extra point....IMO...... It is still IMPOSSIBLE to tell from pictures..... just my gut talkin'....

Hot diggity dog!!!!!! They found more mule deer in 21, 22, 23, & 6A!!!!!! And they found more coues deer in 21, 23 & 6a!!!! Whooo Hooooo!!! I new they were hiding in there some where!!! What a bunch of frickin' MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There will be 1075 deer hunters in the woods in unit 23 on Oct. 26th and 1100 hunters in unit 22 and 850 hunters in unit 21..... wow.... not only will every tree have a hunter behind it, but so will every rock... ...... But hey, got give them credit in 6A.... they added one more hunt so as to not over burden the forest with hunters..... never mind the fact that we have hunters in the woods every week anyhow..... These guys are have got it all figured out..... They is Edjumacated!! Yeah, I reckon we can reason with them... ... going to their meeting is a formality. If you show up with several suitcases full of $100 bills you might to get them to listen to you.... cuz all they are listening to is the sound of coins hitting the bottom of the "piggy bank"!!!!!!!

Thanks, Jim. We work really hard at it......in fact, some say too hard...... that is why my wife is getting that boat, remember? It is really amazing to have helped in the harvest of 3 really awesome, public land coues deer bucks since Oct. '06...... Guess I am going to have to hunt harder for my own Monster now..... since 3 of my hunting buddies and my Wife all have bucks bigger than my largest....... Guess I'm going to have to convince them that they all owe me one..... cuz I'm gunna need all the help I can get!!!! I think Amanda took lots of pics of Jeremy with the buck and all of the sheds last night..... I assume that she is going to post it up.

Nice Buck, Shorty!! Many of you got to meet my Buddy, Jeremy, last night and got to see his awesome Archery buck. That Buck and the one I am about to post are my two favorite hunting memories of 2006. To have shared these special moments with friends is Priceless! So here is my buddy Bill's buck from Oct. 2006..... 120 7/8 gross. Sorry about the picture quallity..... ... I have now leaned to always carry MY camera when hunting with friends..... as they don't seem to have the their heads on straight about preserving the moment......
