Now that is funny! We don't want Jeremy using fixtblade Muzzys..... no one will have any fletchings left. -
I use to have a doubler....I think my boy lost it for me.... They work alright... but there is no substitute for a good spotting scope. IMO
-
Lark, was that you???? Bah HaHaHaHaHaHa That story needs a disclaimer, like: Hold my sign, I don't wanna lose it!!

Hey thanks. Great pic! That camo looks like it blends well in the high country! I might just have to order some....

I have been reading about this Sitka line of clothing and like what I read..... but, I am choking on the price! As a guy that sweats a lot I always look for fast drying and odor control and this stuff boasts all that and then some. I would like to know if any one has used it and how you like it???? Do you have the whole line or just individual pieces? Thanks, CnS

I used to have a 26ft bumper pull and I agree the big trailers are a bunch of work..... however, I have hunted out of pop-up trailers as well and find that when you get to camp they take longer to get camp set, not much faster than a walltent...IMO. I have concerns about how long you can own one before you start to have "wear leaks" in the tent parts.... I, also, really think that getting way off road to camp is a joke, sorta..... we all have quads or UTV's and you are never that far from the remotest hunting spots. Besides.... have you ever got all the out to you favorite hunting spot to find some over-achiever camped smack dab in the middle of it.... A buddy of mine has an 18 ft camp trailer that is kinda the best of both..... no tents, sleeps 5-6, small enough to get off the road a bit, good heating and cooling, and lots of storage. Just my $.02..... CnS

Yeah, I like their camo and like the Max-1 even better. Do you feel that the cost of this clothing is worth it? It sounds like great stuff but Very pricey!! I almost never wear cotton clothing when hunting anymore (except Carharts), because of the slow drying.... learned about that hunting in AK and NWT.... where cotton Never drys!!! The Sitka stuff is something I'd like to try but am restling with the cost to value.......

Just currious..... how did it get entered with out you sending the entry $$$ and signing the fairchase paper? I think I'd be plastering that guys name all over the web and be complaining to P&Y on a deal like that!! -

Thanks Guys! Yeah, that milage is nothing for a Cummins! I did do a KB value on it and the truck is worth +/- about what I am asking and I have about $3500-$4000 wrapped up in the bed, boxes, & airbag setup.... plus throwing in the sets of wheels & tires. It is a great deal for someone out there..... And Jimbo..... ..... You said you would never tell!!! Atleast you didn't mention the 500 lb. Moultree feeder or the food plot that is right next to that salt and treestand .......

I am more interested in how it dries..... how it wears/ stretches when you move, etc. I never have bought into that "sent free" BS.... Unless you hunt within a Ziplock bak you are NOT sent free!!! LOL! I can't breath!!!

Congrats to your son on a GREAT shot and on his first big/small game!!!! If you get buyers remorse when you start shopping the prices of a full body mount, you may want to consider just having it tanned with the claws on. Then your boy can hang it anywhere he wants. We did that with my boy's first archery Yote and it still hangs in our living room today. Just a thought.... Taxi's are getting soooo Pricey!!! Congrats again to you and your boy on a successful hunt!! Gotta love getting the kids affield! CnS

Hey Jeff, You will like the fall-away rests..... I think that there are several that are good. I had a Shaky Hunter and liked it but it was a bit noisy..IMO (when I say noisy.... the guys say my imagination). So I replaced it with the Mathews fall-away and Really like everything about that rest (I have 2 of them and they are consistant). I have always wanted to try the Drop Zone, but never wanted to unload the cash for something I didn't need at the moment. Good Luck.... lots of options! G

Sounds like fun! Can we use "practice" blades on the broadheads or real live cutters? I am fine either way.... I will plan on bringing some targets as well. -

Well it is kinda like this...... It is one of the largest N/T Coues Deer EVER harvested with a bow and my buddy kinda thought that a buck that big should be recognized in every record book that it qualified for. So it will appear in B&C, P&Y, SCI, and the Arizona books as well.... and I think that is awesome to have a bow kill big enough to hang with all the bangstick bucks! I think a buck that big should be seen and appreciated by all who care to see it. My buddy is not a Glitz & Glamour guy.... but he is gunna grin and bare it because this animal deserves it. And I'm gunna back him the whole way! Otherwise we are way not good enough for that SCI crowd.... -
