Make sure you guys get out there and run all the bulls...It is way more fun picking up singles later this spring than doubles... it is still way early to go tramping around for the one or two sides that are laying on the ground already...LOL

Buy online... you will save $$$ then you can get them mounted just about anywhere for $5-$10 a tire....

That buck is bigger than that particular picture shows... everyone is used to nose print photos. Any single photo is hard to judge a coues buck from (or any animal)... especially a kill photo. Post your buck and the guys here will certainly give you a great idea what he will score.

I for one am Thrilled that you guys were able to drag this bull from his hiding spot! This Giant has a rich history (as you well know) and I am glad that he went to a good hard hunting home... Bump for a gun I would love to own!

I have been using 168gr VLD out of my 300 WBY Mag for about 6-7 yrs... we have recovered EVERY animal that has been touched by these bullets... Very happy with them.

I too just found a smaller dead bear... it was completely decomposed but had been fed on by something... it was in a creek bottom and right next to an old 2 track we were driving down... strange....

Gary Congrats on all your sheds and all the hard work you put in the outdoors! You, my friend, are a class act and I only know one other guy that is willing to work as hard as you to find such a beast! The deer antler growth is great this year in central AZ...That country behind the lake should be knee high grass and lots of deer... if you know your hunting spot really well maybe you can drag a buck like this 2013 juniors buck out of your unit... Good Luck!

I bought this scope on a gun.... the scope had a scratched reticle and I wanted to put turrets on it so I sent it off to Leupold... They called me saying that they would be replacing the scope because they didn't have the right parts? So the factory installed the knurled Leupold nobs on a brand New one and shipped it back... I mounted it and stuck it in the safe... It has never been out of my shop or my safe, never fired.... Brand new... I just acquired another scope as well and don't really need this one now... So I have found the scope without turrets for $1,100-$1,300.... (plus tax, shipping, turrets...etc)...... I can't seem to find the exact scope for less than right at $1,100... but keep getting offers for the cost of this scope with the standard duplex reticle... not in that big of hurry to sell it tho...LOL. Gun is not new... Scope is Brand New... and has only been mounted... the gun has not left the safe since I mounted it except to take these pics...

There are way better bulls in other units than in 23.... crappy unit... I personally hate hunting there...
