I just heard this too. The man who should have been our Country's President and never was. Former President of the NRA, Excellent Actor, and a True American in my eyes! Rest In Peace .... Mr. President. CnS

Sorry... left that out I guess.... It is a '98, but don't let that fool you. It is about half the hours that my 2001 Foreman hason it. This has always been an "extra" bike for us and so it has not had that much use. I'll try to get a pic up on here tomorrow.... Thanks. CnS

Thanks Manny & Tom! The input is all good!! And no, Mike, I am not borrowing you gun.... Please keep it coming!!! G

Have not even pulled one out, Doug.... She does not really know she is a bird dog, yet. I will wait till she is about 1 1/2 or 2 before I even start her.... I have noticed, over the years watching my dad train these dogs, that they really seem to Finish as a gun dog about the same time (IMO) if you start late or early... This way I can focus on my real adjendas now and birds later! Hope to have a really well rounded 'Lil Girl by the age of 4. (And I don't mean fat, Troy) It has been really fun so far.... I am going to take her over to Dad's to be snake broke next weekend..... we came nose to nose with a big ol' Bull Snake a couple weeks ago and she had no natural fear. That snake breaking works wonders and is a cheap investment in your dog's future. Thanks everyone! Here is a new pic this morning as I sit here typing. Oh BTW...... SOAP BOX.... I will be having her fixed soon. Many people that I meet seem to have this pride thing that Their dog is sooo good and they are gunna have "just one litter".... News FLash--- They are all that good!!!! If you like the breed, you will like the next one you get if you train it right. Too many unwanted pets out there. Thanks, CnS

Coues 'n' Sheep replied to firstcoueswas80's topic in Classified Ads
Hey Casey.... maybe you ought give that stuff to Mike..... in trade for a date with Linnea.... Then you could hand deliver the package. GINO!!!! FOR ONCE!!! you say something that makes sense! Linnea is to young for me though, how about Danielle as long as she doesnt bring her deer head! Look, I now know that Linnea can whip your arse flat-footed and age means nothing.... Danni is Way too tuff for you and she has a "boy" friend.... Disclaimer: Linnea....... I am very Sorry, in advance for putting you in the spotlight like this..... Just tryin' to help your Old Dad get some stuff for his bench! -

AES's Walt Nicoson passes away
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to Joe Kauffman's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I did not have the pleasure of knowing Walt personally, only by reputation. A man who touched the liives of so many, and will be painfully missed. I'd like send my deepest heart-felt thoughts & prayers to all of Walt's family and friends. Gino -
It would seem that I have been beat into a few areas by the "Early Birds"... scattering bulls to heck and gone.... so they can be the "first one in there"!!! And of course the Quad tracks criss-crossing every open piece of ground is always a pleasant find when you are afoot... But heck, me and Shiela have had a ball anyhow!! The score card is pretty weak but all worth while! 11 White (left 6 of them hangin' in trees for the next guy) 4 brown (nuthin' big) 1 Coues (shed) (Bonus) 1 Elk P/U head These are some of our first finds for the year. Pretty proud of this little horn.... I would have walked right on past it if not for Shiela! She kept running back around this 4' tall x 20' wide bush and staring at me, then run to me, and then back to stand on the horn... Man, was I proud when I realized what she was doin'!!!! Shiela got pretty "birdie" several other times but this is the only legit find so far. In the thick country that I horn hunt finding a coues shed is a rare deal and a real bonus! Got lucky and found this little guy in the open! I think this is Shiela's favorite horn cuz she could carry it! I glassed this P/U head back in Nov. of 2007 and it looked like it had been there for a while. I was scouting elk then & did not have time to go pick it up….. and it was a really long walk from where I was at. So I came in blind from the opposite direction and walked right to it last week. Standing there on it I realized that where I glassed it from was the only place it could be seen from. Could not tell what killed this bull but I did find a large set of fresh lion tracks a few hundred yards away. Anyhow, been fun to get out and enjoy the great outdoors just me and the dog..... CnS

Ha Ha Ha!! You had your chance, Bro!!! Somebody beat us too though.... .... and ran all the bulls out. dang over achievers! This horn was laying Right next to that rock!!!! My best horn of the day.

Aw.. that is Sweet!!! Low country or high country, Josh??? I want to look in a couple areas really hard this year for coues sheds! I know a certain member of this site found a last years coues siderack last week that went about 49 1/2"..... The kicker of it was that he found my boy's boot tracks 20 yds from the horn! My boy had been shed hunting in there the week before and walked right past it!!! Man was he bummed!
