Casino has good food and is pretty cheap...... Chili's is alright, but Macky's is Way better...... ( Macky's is located behind the Chili's.... next to the Theater) Diamond Point is Pretty dang Good too! Have a good dinner...... we expect a full report! CnS -

Got an invite last night to go to Texas on a free turkey hunt in a week. I'm not prepared and I'm not much of a Turkey hunter, so your advice will be appreciated. I have a brand new 12 ga. that I bought a few years back at the Flag DU banquet, and I have Never shot it. Kinda had a lot of "spirits" that night so I don't even know anything about the gun... ....other than it is chambered in 3", it is ported on top of the barrel, and it has an "accu choke"... Just pulled it out of the closet for the first time today...... So..... What are you guys shootin' at the Gobblers??? Thanks, CnS

Since my mom got a new car I inherited her old truck which was the plan but we didn't think this would happen until this December so this is my new ride. I still want the scout though Guess your gunna have to buy a Wheeler to slide in the back of that truck so that you don't have to scratch that nice paint job up.... Nice ride, BTW!

You guys may find this funny....... I know this thread is way down in the archives now, but I am packing for Texas this morning and have been sicker than a DOG for 2 days and was lacking ambition. I was dreading having to arrive at the airport at 6:00 am tomorrow and the long day of travel, the work that might (or might not) get done while I am gone, and the rumbly-bumbly going on in my stomach. I for some reason found this thread again and read it and felt rejuvenated for the hunt! It kinda made me all warm inside to think about the girls (HC1 & HC2), and how their hunt was one of the funnest hunts I have been on. It made me reflect on the concept of what it is about hunting that we live for... and it is obviously not the Killing ...... it is the comradery (sp?) and the memories that will span our lifetime. And also, that the obsticals we overcome while hunting not only make us better at it, but also make the memories that much better, too! It totaly changed my perspective on the day, on the trip ahead, and made me all fired up to go smoke me a Rio! Thanks Girls! You made my day, today.... with out even trying! I will always remember this elk hunt with you guys... I mean.... girls! Well, you know what I meant.... BTW..... Your Daddy did a great job on your Euro mounts I sure enjoyed looking at them on the wall when we were at your house! Thanks, UG

Who'd a thunk it??? : Whats wrong with turn-a-key Its better than you brothers Turk-a-turk Actually you are mistaken... or it was mis-quoted...... The correct term is Turk-a-lurk!

Bah HaHaHaHa!!! All I can say is..... SHUUURRR! Tobbacco pipe! -
Thor.... OUTSTANDING Trophies!!!!!!! That is a Fantastic desert Ram! Details???? Here is my last sheep hunt and the most amazing hunting adventure I have ever been on! Being stranded in a tent for over 48 hrs straight with rain & snow, and having the wind blow so hard that your tiny little tent looks as if it will parashute you from the mountain, hiking 45 degree shale slids, and 60 degree slopes on a 4" wide sheep trail, traversing boulder fields that have a 1/4" of ice on them (that left a mark or two), and sleeping under the Aurora Borealis a half a dozen miles from your tent, food, and sleeping bag...... and so much more. What an adventure!

Help me pick out tires.....
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to AzPacknHorns's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Been running the Pro Comp Extreme A/T on wife's 2500 Hemi, since Dec. of 2006 and they still have half the rubber on them and no problems. Don't know what size you are running but hers are 35x12.5 R17LT. Great tires! Good luck. -
I can think of 2 possable reasons 1-Her Mom and Dad are the ones that found the Whiskey Buck sheds 2-And this is what I think. They Picked her up like a shed someone left behind There aint no way her UGLY father could have had anything to do with such a pretty girl You should see him dance around a camp fire to Deliverance Good Luck Kimberly from the whole family OUCH!!! I knew I there was a reason that I avoided your huntin' camps over there.... if ya'll are playin' banjo music you can count me out!!!

Take a woman hunting!!
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to CouesWhitetail's topic in Miscellaneous Items related to Coues Deer
Geee, I wonder, Lark...... Must just be your bad luck. Lark, I kinda figured you for having a Really cool woman that did do all that stuff and killed lots of stuff, too .... and I figured that she would do most of her hunting with a spear or large knife... only killing the ones that she counted coue on first! -
HaHaHaHa... Yup green with envy! If I had Scotty's money I'd burn mine!!!! Way Awesome trophies, Scott.... A lifetime of memories right there in those pics!!!! Congrats!

Way to go Dan!! Looks like you guys got it done in a big way!

+1 Ron! Spitfires are almost impossible to have a failure with! Everything I have shot with them has died with 1 1/4"-1 1/2" entrances and a 1 1/2" on exit.... Except the one that broke a shoulder into many pieces and did not pass through but the buck expired within 75 yds... On the other hand, I will not recommend the Rage based on the failures I have witness with others using them. CnS
