Small world, my friend!!! The web makes it even smaller! Had a hunch it was you! Tell your Bride, "Hello" for us! How's the Boy? Still playin' ball, I hope! Mine is in Nor. Cal. fighting fires..... he is supose to take his cousin down to your neck of the woods for the Nov. Juniors hunt...... I'll try to get him over your way to look you up. Good luck hunting this year! And buy that Rino GPS... you will not regret it. It has it all! Later!

Word on the street is that in Gila county there are a group of teenagers & young adults armed with cordless grinders stealing anything they come across... I don't know if that is true, but if so.... there is no theft proof method that will beat a grinder......

No, I was not pickin' at you....... But I was not patting you on the back, either! Hmmmm...... Tasco....... Stiener... Tasco..... .... Stiener..... Aw heck!!! Which is cheaper...... You one eyed glassin' fool!!! You ought to own a spotter instead!!!!! You know I' just messin', my Brutha!

Nice pics, Jack!!! I think that pick you have is a buck we called "Baby Hook"... but I could be wrong.... Jason could clear all that up, but i believe that shed he gave me is from "Captain Hook"..... again... I am not sure, it has been a few years. Thanks for the pics!!!!

Antler growth of decent buck.
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to GHOSTLUVR's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
OMG! Sure looks like him! Thanks Mike... Seth, Congrats on that buck!!!! I tried like heck to find that buck prior to my Oct. hunt last year, but it is so dang thick in there that I could not put him in the glasses.... I knew Mike had a pic of that buck as soon as you posted the kill photos! Small world! We would love to know what he scores as is and what he would have scored had he not broke. What an awesome bow kill!!! Congrats, Man!!!!! Gino -
Whats wrong with a little "city folk" competion? I would rather bring home a nice city folk pay check and enjoy the outdoors. Yeah, but only real men can live it.... and stick it! I've lived in the mountains of central AZ my whole life.... Don't think the city livin' ain't tempted me once or twice with the promise of a little more cash..... but I know lots of home town folks like me.... and I know they just hate sharing with outsiders. Nuthin' personal... not tryin' to start a barn-burner.... just statin' the obvious, that's all. Ward's..... You state a very true fact.... or actually lots of facts. Too bad they don't see it that way.... that goes both ways though. i know lots of city folks, myself included, that wish they could up and move to the mountains. dont think country livin' aint tempted us once or twice with the promise of , well, country livin'. and i know we hate people like you not sharing with us. what is there to share anyways, public land? anyways notihng persoal, not trying to help the barn burn down, just stating the obvious from the other side, that's all. The age old battle.....

Dude... You are out of your mind if you think Fuji's are better than Swaro's!!! You just got out glassed by guys with better eyes and lower budgets!! I have friends that can out glass the average hunter with a pair of Tasco's!!! That does not make me want to sell my Swaro's for them!!!! Fuji's are great when they are new but they fade really quickly if you use them.... and you won't even realize it. The life span on all the Fuji's we have ever tried was about 2-4 years.... Swaro's last 4-ever!!!!! Trust me.... I am not willing to part with a very well trained pair of Swaro's to down grade.... I'm just re-gearing.

Man that sucks!!! Well, best of luck with your new bank.... and word of advice....quit throwing F-bombs in public!

I love my Rino!!! My wife bought me the 520 (? I think) and then I bought the topo chip for it... it is frickin' awesome!! Worth every penny! PS: Are you the same Verndog that I played Baseball with at PHS??? If so say hello to the familly! Later, Gino

Your selling your 15's Time for me to upgrade... I am due for something new and the wife loves me!

My huntin' partner finds them all the time on the Ranch when they are our riding. He gave me a dandy he found a few years back. They had a name for this buck, but I forgot it now. A few on here might remember this buck wondering around in 19A a few years back...... he is on someones wall now.
-
Yup, thanks to all the city folk diving up the hill and slingin' arrows! The local boys don't need the competion. So go find a new unit to hunt..... no more deer in those units anyhow.....
-
DB, I have a pair of 15's that I will sell. They are in perfect working order, but used..... and trained to find Critters!! If you are interested just PM me a phone number and I will give you a call.

Side-by-sides - help me understand!!!
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to Coach's topic in Optics and tripods
Jason, Like you I could not see the sense in having a side by side.... when I could own a jeep for the same or less money. Then one day I went out into the woods with Huntn coues and his wife on their Ranger..... I was SHOCKED!!! Faster, smoother, and more functional than a quad or a jeep, or anything else for that matter! The ranger is the only machine for me for one major reason... three adults can ride in the front and if you rig it up right you can put atleast two more in the back! We had my Ranger out this weekend in the dust and my Bro-in-Law did not like it much... but then I took my buddies down this wicked rock-crawler trail and they were Shocked and really so was I... at the places we went and did not bottom out.... the crap we crawled over without spinning a tire! I have had my Ranger just about 3 months and have 60 hours on it..... we use it all the time.... the wife takes it to visit familly up the street, we hunt and scout from the house or throw it on the trailer to where ever we want to go... we even take it out on beer runs or nights on the town!!! I put a killer marine grade radio and speakers with Sirus tunes and an I-pod/MP3 jack....(that was a bit $$$$, but sooo worth it).... heck I listen to it while working in the yard!!! "Swallow the Pill" as it was said earlier.... you will not regret it!!!!!! -
Well....... I dare say that many of us have spent years, if not decades learning this stuff the hardway... and you want to get a one hour crash course with cliff notes for free! So hear is my advice.... buy a tilt compensating range finder and be done with it! Oh.... always aim low!

Welcome! Which 23 hunt do you have? Congrats on the tag.

Cowards Strike Again!!
Coues 'n' Sheep replied to AZ402's topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
That really sucks!! We have been lucky over there so far, with my buddy's cameras. I am gunna set one this week that will require a lot of tools to steal it! I was over there a while back with another friend and we saw a camera on a tree and it was not locked up... ... I think it snapped a few pics of his face or his butt face.... .... and away we went..... but in todays world those unlocked cams are an invite for the dirt abgs among us.... Hope you catch those guys!
