Azgfd Official Letter to the Governor's GRRC Concerning Trail Cameras
ThomC replied to SirRoyal's topic in The Campfire
The real problem is guides used to be called outfitters. And all they did was help the hunter with horses, camping, etc. Now it expected and paid more for an almost tied up trophy. Hence the outfitters are using every trick and electronic gadget to make the big $$. There are all kinds of new tools to make hunting easier. They are starting with cameras but what is next? G&F controls licensed guides. Hiring a guide to do most of the work and point out an animal is not fair chase. The Guides aid in the success of "take" of animals much more than average hunters. So, why doesnt G&F change the rules for guides? I will bet that you can guess the answer. The AZ G&F commission was created to keep the politics and special interests out of the management of wildlife. What happened? -

There must be a story of your adventures on the closed road. And the story would stop some of these wild conjectures. π

I forgot to watch the meeting today. What did they do? -
When I was looking at cameras for my house a security installer said a wireless camera is for places that you cant put wires. The wired system is the best. I bought remote but, the alarm is not instant. They are just like trail cameras, it takes time to notice movement, switch on and take a pic. The range is also variable 25' or less is my experience. Also they are geared to pick up on people not vehicles. Alerts go to your phone where ever you are if connected to your modem. The alarm is also not instant, just like your phone it takes a while to connect and make the call. At the end of your road you may get alot of alarms from passing vehicles but not good pictures. Your results may vary.

I suspect that a certain person wants a rule named after him for his legacy. Maybe we could put his name on an outhouse on the Avery instead. π€

L&F wants to redefine "take" to include "take" a picture of game without their written permission. LOL
-
He said S. phoenix. LOL
-
So, the rules manager picks and chooses what comments are allowed to be seen. That makes sense if your trying to control the narrative. Sounds familiar. China communism comes to mind.π

The L&F of carefree must have sent the email about the porthole redo to the beta group. I didnt get the email and havent done anything to my porthole so everything worked. L&M should have signed you all up as volunteers so you could log your hours. π

There is another problem, the carefree clowns will write a "rule" so un clear that even the expert reading compressive people wont be able to understand it.
-
Cameras are almost illegal so, it you put up your salt/drinker you wont be able to put a cam on it.
-
The story? G&F wake up, no tag on that powerline deer.
-
No. Is it your property? Do you lease the property? Putting out salt has to be a normal ranching situation. Read the regs and it might be better if you dont post it on the internet.

You are right Delw. I see so much cancel culture where one passes judgement on anothers post based and biased on anecdotal evidence. You would think that they (the cancel culture beer buddy group) are the website moderators.
