Be careful what you ask for, you might get it. The rule of unintended consequences will apply here. Example, since you will have to pay to use the restrooms and wont have to pay to use the forest for the same purpose then what will people do? Either taxes will have to go up for everyone or amenities will disappear or both.

Allen I understand most of your thoughts but one stands out in my opinion. You state that many people dont want to come to our banquet and purchase raffle tickets,live auction ect cause of our ties with azsfw or have funded them in the past. Well lets think about this for a moment.. Who loses if the deer association fails at our banquet... We will have no funds for junior camps, no funds for water projects, no funds to haul water to unit 12 or 13 like we do practically every year,no funds to remove coyotes, as you might know there are 2 of the ADA's water trailers sitting on the kaibab. We will have no funds to put on a great deer seminar with rifle shooting (bullets and guns supplied by the ada) and not .22 cal last year kids shot .243 and 257 weatherby,300 magnum, muzzleloaders and alot more calibers. A great expierance for any junior. I wish when I was a kid I had that opportunity,but there were no such orginazations around. As I believe all of you know the board members,presidents and such get no compensation, none, no gas allowance to pull the trailer nothing.Every hat or shirt you see us wearing that have the ADA logo on it we purchased. Again who loses, If you think that the 5000.00 "I believe thats the correct amount" that we did donate to the azsfw last year makes them that powerfull your all crazy. Ask a smiling kid that shot a pig or deer at one of our ada junior deer camps in the past how he would feel if the ada had no funds to do it again see what there reaction is. We are all losing our kids to xbox,playstation,wii,cellphones and now the worst texting. heck look at gas prices who do we blame for that and lets stop supporting all the oil companies. Walk to work for the next few weeks. do u see my point Most if not every board member has a mission is mind "GROW MORE DEER, JUNIOR HUNTER AND RETENTION" If we cant do that they we are no differant then the average joe hunter. Alot of you are easy to bash the ADA because we didnt vote on a unvotable situation really!!! For the record the ADA has raised millions of dollars and spend millions right here in Arizona where you all hunt. A small appreciation for all that we have done in the past would be nice. And as for the banquet if its a failure "which I doubt" there may not be another Junior camp or a water project. May I summerize the subject in my perspective? Treestand guy has a few treestands out in the forest that he thinks will be good spots. He complains that lazy guy sat in one of his stands and left a thank you note that said, I didnt have time to scout so I used your scouting and stand to hunt. Treestand guy thought that people should respect his property and not use it. Other posters took the devils advocate approach to tell tree stand guy that leaving treestands out did not give him the spot. And leaving treestands out was illegal. Treestand guy didnt want to hear that he shouldnt leave his stands out. And then treestand guy said he would do something nasty to lazy guy. Treestand guy became a lazy man when he said I dont want to carry my treestand in and out every day. Again people took both sides and the talk got a little too wordy especially as to violent actions. The question still remains "if you break the law and someone comes along and uses the illegal stand then can you justify breaking the law ." . My perspective is that treestand guy and lazy guy are both wrong. But the slippery slope is "but it is not enforced".

Who won the most games? NOT the Old jersey giants. It was a game folks and mostly luck. "I would rather be lucky than good." I like that Eli the under dog kid did well. But, this is one Arizonan that dosnt like that the OLD YORK people (voted the rudest people in the US) think that they won again. As far as the comments about Mrs. Brady, what would you say to a bunch of rude giants fans heckeling you. I think it would be best if you and I had some time to discuss issues prior to the meeting. Amanda has my contact info. I would be willing to talk or meet earlier that day. BPJ You can bet old bogus points will be scrambling to do damage control before the meeting. If the ADA doesnt roll some heads then I will call them bogus deer association.

There are a lot of loopholes and loophole jumpers in life. You need to go to a Judge to interpret the intent of the rule/law. I dont know why you want to work so hard to get another pig tag. Take a kid hunting if you want to go again. It will be more fun.

Why do we need one org. to do all the talking. I think that all groups should have a voice, that way you get a cross section of opinions. Web sites like this are valuable to get the average guys opinion. But, groups like ADA need to watch what their leaders are doing. In fact all of us need to watch what so called leaders are doing, and that goes all the way to the top.

Is that $200. plus paper work and waiting period for each gun. Most gun shots are with shotguns like 50 shots a day Dove hunting. So, what would my shotgun look like with a suppressor. I am not against it but I dont think that it would be much use to me.

Daughters cabin in Christopher Creek: Elk, deer, turkeys, and our fish guts cleaning crew the raccoons. Last Sept. I got to watch the Elk rutting in the meadow all night and then at day break they went up the mountain screaming and fighting. No tag but still love that show.

I sent the pic to CSI and they told me that the fingers/prints in the pic are from a "person of interest" in a serial poaching cold case.

How many people read every word on these one paragraph thesis some people post on what ever the subject happens to be. I find myself skipping these looong posts and maybe missing a good point but just dont want to work thru all the verbage to find it. And then the next poster quotes that looong post and adds way to much more verbage. Dont you feel for Amanda or the Mods that have to wade thru all this stuff.
