    Where to retire?

Back east where you came from.
  2. Get ready for the next 1/4 mile rule. No shooting at animals that are more than a 1/4 mile away from you or the road.
  3. More and more stupid people are moving here. !/4 mile 440yds was used so as to not confuse stupid people with different numbers. That rational was used for the cameras also. G&F knows that a lot of hunters are stupid so they try to make it easy to understand their rules. But, it dont never work. Soon on the web cam friday morning they will show some of dem that get caught.

    Shotgun for daughter

Why handicap her with a crappy gun? Whatever you get, get with a skeet choke. .410 is for experts.
  5. Waaaaaa, Waaaaa, what should I do, what should I do now now? Oh I know I will post this on the internet, that will fix it or whatever.

    Game and Fish screw up

Life is tough, even tougher if you are stupid. This story plays out every draw cycle. When you are pointing the fingers of blame at other people then at least 3 are pointing at you. Point one in the air and 3 are pointing at you.

    Low life Camera thiefs

The inductees for this year’s event include: Tracy Unmacht, of New River, has dedicated her life to conserving Arizona’s wildlife for future generations through her service to multiple non-governmental organizations. She expanded from participating in the “Becoming an Outdoors Woman” camp to becoming a volunteer, organizer and fundraiser for the group. She’s also served the Arizona Antelope Foundation for 16 years as an administrator, newsletter and magazine editor, clinic organizer and webmaster. Catherine Cimellaro, of Phoenix, has worked for decades to promote hunting, fishing, wildlife conservation and habitat enhancement to benefit Arizona’s wildlife. She has lent her talents to assisting multiple wildlife organizations such as the Arizona Desert Bighorn Sheep Society, the Antelope Foundation, Wildlife Conservation Council, Arizona Deer Association, and Conserve and Protect Arizona. Her graphic design skills helped to produce a logo for the Arizona Big Game Super Raffle and she redesigned Arizona’s wildlife license plate, which is attached to more than 10,000 vehicles and has raised additional funding for wildlife conservation LOL

    Hunting w/Non-Lead

No need to get ruffled, I started this thread to allow discussion on the topic. It was surprising to me how polarizing this issue was. I know before you mentioned that there was conflicting data on this? You mentioned some statistics there, can you share your sources? I really do want to understand the topic better and do my part as a hunter to conserve our ecosystems. It seems that sources like huntfortruth.org think that this research was put forth by econazis intent on banning hunting. Thats why the podcast with Newberg was so enlightening. I would have otherwise never guessed that the Peregrine Fund was established by hunters and was a partner organization to AES, MDF, etc. I have learned a lot in the past few weeks and I am happy to say that endeavor started here. We can use CWT to facilitate conservation if we can just stop griping with each other. So no more hunting or shooting lead .22 or shot shells for you? I dont know about no more, but I certainly will change some habits. With our first rifle Kaibab hunt in the family coming up this year I will definitely either shoot copper or commit to taking the carcass out whole. Its a doe hunt, so pack out isnt as big of a concern. When I shoot gophers in MT I wont leave them out on logs for birds to eat. In all of this I havent read or heard anything about target shooting, so probably wont change that. As far as other big game, I dont do a lot of rifle hunting but when I do, I will consider alternatives to lead. My son had a 12 b tag and his grand father had given him his custom springfield 1903 3006 spr. right before he passed away. That rifle will not shoot copper bullets, but it loves 150 gr accubonds so we brought heavy contractor bags and I put the entire gut pile in it and hauled it off, we didnt leave anything for the condors. In the real world outside of vodoo science the condoors need to eat gut piles to live.

    Introduction Jim Cloninger

Be careful and dont give out your address on this site or you will have the crooks that watch this site sneaking around your house. Because you live in Cali there are other things for you to beware of.

    Hunting w/Non-Lead

Never fear the "allowing of the voluntary use of copper bullets" is a foot in the door for the ammo banners. AZGFD is trying to slow the tide of the total lead ammo banners.

    Hunting w/Non-Lead

If you read the post from the past you will find proof that the lead story is BS. I just read a post from .270 and he said so. Lead is available to Cali Condors in many forms in nature, not just in fragmented bullets. Some scientists even tried to say that people eating any animal shot with lead bullets would get lead poisoning. It is VOODOO science much like the freon lie and other "science" designed to make money. We now have lead free faucets, lead free gas, lead free diesel, thanks to Cali who are brain dead and it is not from eating lead. It only causes problems in Cali, it says so on lots of paint ,and etc. cans. We dont need no stinkin cali buzzards in AZ. They are too weak to live here, not adaptable, and useless. We have lots of buzzards in AZ that can eat what little lead is in the environment or a carcass and be fine.

Especially the ones around waterholes that G&F dont like. It is not fair to leave your trash at waterholes.
