Hey Dustin, Good to hear from you. Heres a pic of them sheds. we found em several years ago in the cedars, chasin elk. Walked right by them the first time, then on the way back following my tracks found the first one. Walked around the tree and found the other one.. Never did get an elk out of there. Too flat, couldnt get a shot. Ron

Guy makes 10 million a year... Guy needs HUGE TAX WRITE OFFS... Guy buys RMEF Auction tag for 200,000 gets huge write off for donating and gets to kill a huge bull and pay his taxes... Nice bull... and Im sure this Alan is a great guy. But dont be fooled here. Most of you dont understand how or why these rich guys buy auction tags. THEY ARE TAX WRITE OFFS!!!! Example; Guy makes 10 million dollars a year,,,then said guy owes 2 million in taxes--- Guy buys NON_PROFIT ELK TAG FOR 200,000 bucks.Guy gets huge write off AND gets to kill a huge bull. guy gets recognition for DONATING to RMEF or whereever he bought the tag from. Said guy gets recognition for being a great hunter and conservationist for PAYING HIS TAXES, unlike you and I. How and why do you think the same guys are always doing this? Because they need the write offs and not all rich guys hunt. Only a few.. When I make 10 million a year, Im going to do the same thing...LOL Ron

FINALLY!!! Someone with some sense!! I couldnt agree more. Protect the buildings and get the folks out. LET it burn cause there aint no stoppin it. We had our turn 10 years ago, now its the east sides turn. Pack your junk, send the wife and kids on there way and stay behind and watch your mortgage payments so it dont burn. This fire is gonna run all the way to HWY 260 before it runs out of fuel. If it jumps 260, it'll go on to the HWY 60 till it gets in the grassland and runs out of fuel just like R/C did. Only difference is this fire is a MONTH EARLIER. Too much wind to stop it anytime soon... Good luck folks....Hang in there. Ron

This is a great video. I watched it over and over before my hunt a few years ago. I field judged the buck I killed at 83.5 and when we got it on the ground it was 84. I was pretty impressed with that. LOL I was so excited that I kept adding the measurements wrong and my son was sayin.. "dad, 8 and 7 and a half isnt 13" LOL.. Ron

I was going to post exactly this..... Is the Eastman video any good? Anyone know? Eastmans kind of sucks. He just goes out scouting a bunch of small bucks... Then when he finds the bigger lone buck, He makes up a bunch of crap that aint true..Hes not very good at antelope judging either. Ron

I looked for one of these for a long time years ago. They used to stock em at western drug for 350. I gave up up on till about 5 years ago. I was gonna get one of them remington heavy barrel 597's in 22 mag, but they were out of stock too. I ended up getting a marlin from hunters paradise. shoots great, but I should of waited.The 10/22 mag is way heavier than a standard 10/22. the mag has a forged receiver and is a much better gun in my opinion. You got a good eye... Check on gallery of guns...Most people that got one wont let go of them...Look hard at the remington too.They might have them out now. Good luck. Ron

This is probably gonna cause an uproar, but the sad fact is that its true........ If you would have been a good ole boy with one of the right last names from over there in good ole boy round valley, you would have got off without any harassment at all from the "SHE" judge.Ive seen it a dozen times in the last few years, speeding tickets, poaching cases etc. Lark hit the nail on the head when he said you can go on a killing spree over there if your a juvenile and get away with it.. They are soo bass ackwards over there its not even funny. 20 years behind times. I like the other post about just keep on rolling by when they try and talk to you... Im gonna do it from now on.. Ron

Thanks Amanda, I just reset the cam for a 30 second delay and checked the card this am. It worked fine for about an hour then started taking pics every minute and a half for the rest of the night, while the one next to it only took 4 pics all night. I think its faulty like you said. Thanks for the input.... Ron
