I have had a pair of 10x42 SLC for over 15 years. I left them on the tailgate of my truck once during a bad rainstorm and they fogged up. I sent them back and they told me if they could not have them back in 2 weeks they would overnight an identical loaner pair until mine were fixed. Customer service was fantastic. I have never had any other issues with them and the rain incident was in 2001. The 10x42 SLC are an excellent glass. Not to bad to handhold and great on a tripod. Carry around the neck in bino buddies or something similar with no weight issues. Time after time when I put them to my face while on a tripod the sharpness and clarity is awesome. I have looked through the high end vortex in the same magnification and they are good but I found myself constantly on the focus wheel for correction. Great choice for an all around optic.

Looking to throw in with some guys who know the ropes on a semi guided hunt in Mexico. I have good equipment, not a pain in the butt and take care of my business. Being in some good country with good potential for big bucks is more important than budget. Somewhere to sleep, bring our own food, I don't know never done it. Prefer to ride down as a group or with an individual who knows the ins and out's of fire arms paperwork. permitting etc.

Stihl won't start? Stihl sitting there? Stihl working on it? Stihl watching everybody else cut wood?

Nice to see they can pump millions of gallons of water a day out of upper Eagle to keep their lawns green.

2014 Auction Tag Buck Video!!!

Really nice. -
You can see the epidermal gland in front of the hind quarters along the spine. Javelina, rough looking one though.

the name can be whatever it wants!! How is it killed?? Gutierrezia Serrotina or something like that….. been a long time. Round up or Honcho kills pretty much everything. Dig it out with a shovel… one main tap root. Stay on top of it during dry years and you can get rid of it.

Believe the common name is "Snake weed" Really. It's considered an invader species of overgrazed grassland.

Hey lark, That mower probably looks like this one. I have it in my front yard in town. It was in the best shape of three. There used to be a lot of old implements on my in laws place on Upper Eagle but most of it has been stolen. Amazing that people will drag a trailer in your private property and steal your stuff. Mostly Jamie and Clayton. Got about ten hours in it.

When this bird got in close Sarah got a little too excited and pushed the slide release on my 870 instead of pushing the safety off. Instead of the 2 3/4 load of fours, he took a 3 inch mag with 2 oz. of fours at 25 yards. I had put the heavy load as the first in the magazine in case she needed a second shot. Results were a little dramatic.

Those are some really nice pictures of a very pretty bird. You are a very lucky guy to be able to share your hunts with your daughter. Mine lives in Scottsdale now but she still comes back home to go hunting with her dad. I'm sure Jaycie will also. Keep making memories, memories make good stories. Congrats on a truly beautiful bird.

You are a complete fool Ha! I guess I'll take being a fool with 4 AZ antelope tags in the last 20 years over being smart with 20+ points I killed a slew of them in Wyoming, in the 80's a non res could kill 8 does for less than 3 bills and buck tags were not too hard to come by in the red desert. They just don't float my boat. I would give all those points for a unit 1 archery bull tag. Been fortunate enough to draw that tag 4 times in 27 years.
-
I have 24.... Started applying for unit 1 four years ago, can't even draw that tag.

That's awesome! In civil suits the court usually stands by the BS of not being a collection agency. I wish this kind of action would become more prevalent.

Thats what I shoot and really like it. I have never adjusted anything but the length. You definitely don't want to get your finger over the top of that trigger until your ready for it.

My Dad has a "poor mans .375" I will ask him if interested.

Growing up my Dad had a friend who had guided in Alaska. He told stories of tracking wounded Grizzlies into willow thickets, all out charges. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback scared the crap out of him, he would sit outside our house in his truck and honk the horn until she was chained. My Dad would tease him and his response would be " getting killed by a bear is a macho way to go, nothing macho about getting eaten by a dog". Having lost some really great dogs to vehicles, poisoning and some idiot's bullet, I hope you can find peace Amanda in knowing that Julie's time ended doing what she loved to do, being in the outdoors.

Not if it's an English Sparrow

Picked up a tablet in unit 27 on the trail this morning. The otter box looks great, the tablet not so much. Describe it and it's yours.

Somebody needs to pick this up. Good buy on an overlooked excellent caliber. Their is a reason that the .257 Roberts is still being chambered by several major manufacturers and custom rifle builders. Many premium bullets available for the handloader. My wife has taken a bunch of deer with hers at ranges up to 400 yards, one shot kills. We shoot 115 grain Nosler ballistic tips and deer hate it real bad. Mild recoil, great rifle for youth and small framed shooters.
