Hopefully I will have close up pics in a month of one of them. They should be hard horned by then.

Few more pics from our scouting trip last Thurs.

Yeah not really looking forward to packing up a weeks worth of stuff including water. The only water we have found is at the bottom of the mountain and I'm not hiking back and forth a bunch of times.

I have a few videos I will try and upload tonight when I have wifi so the Hi Def works.

That's too bad man. -
Looking for a good Down Sleeping bag. Looking for something that will fit someone 6'1" tall and be in the 45 deg and lower range. Wanting to stay under 2 lbs. Please let me know what you have. You can email me at jdirtymax@gmail.com as well. Thanks
-
Yeah I know they aren't cheap. I have found the Mont Bell 30 deg in a long for $170.

I have this same truck in the 4 dr. Best truck I have ever owned aand I have owned about 6 in the last 10 years. Love this body style of all of the Yota's.

I keep as still as possible while calling and will not even move until they are to my call and I will hurry and swing on them. If they are a ways out and I have time I will get them in my scope and stay on them until they are as close as I think they will come. I will usually just let my call play until I shoot then I will switch to pup distress. The best thing you can do to help yourself out is find someone locally to go with a few times. You will learn a lot more just watching them plus most the time I think it's funner with a good hunting buddy. I alsways try and stay in the shade if at all possible. That is the best camoflauge you can have. Most all of the coyotes I kill are within 50 yds or less.

Just got my Outdoorsmans Pan Head to go with me Outdoorsmans tripod I picked up awhile ago. All I can say is wow. That head is the greatest I have ever used. So smooth and man it is light. Pretty crazy when the box and packaging the head came in only reads 1 lb on the UPS label. Can't wait to get out and use it. I have been carrying around a Velbon carbon fiber tripod and head for about 5 years now. I think it weighs about 6-7 lbs. It's amazing the difference just holding the two in your hands.

If you don't want to spend a lot I have always liked every pair of Wolverine's I have bought. If you want to spend a little more and get a really good pair of boots I recommend Crispi boots. By far the most comfortable I have ever worn. I tried the Kennetrek and felt like I was walking on stilts. For me the sole is to high. I picked up the Crispi Nevada GTX and they are comparable the Kennetrek just down have the high heel on them. I have also heard lots of good things about the Lowa boots.

I'll second that. We all use Jaret's bino packs around here and love them!! Lot's of neat pockets for lens cleaners, calls, lighters and cell phones. Completely protects our expensive optics. Amanda sells them here. Even better sold on this forum.

I have been using the Alaksan Guide Creations Bino chest pack for 6 years now and I wouldn't go back to any other optics pack. I have tried the badlands, bino hub, Cabelas harness, S4 lockdown and a few others and none compare to the AGC chest pack. It fits tight against your body and provides the best protection for you expensive binos. Keeps all dust, water and anything else you don't want off your binos. I would recomend these to anyone. If you call Jaret Owens from his website and ask him he will send you a chest pack to try for free and if you don't like it you can send it back. Not many places would do that for you. Best of all made right here in the good old USA. None of that China stuff. I would say you should at least try it. Has a few extra pockets on it. One holds a few rds of ammo and a rangefinder. The other one holds a lighter or small flashlight and my windicator powder bottle and a coyote call very nicely. If you have anymore question feel free to ask me.

I second that. I love these tents Easy to set up and take down and weigh hundred less then a camvas wall tent the same size. If I could talk my hunting buddies into going in on it with me I would buy it. -
I have a new Vortex Viper HD Angled scope I would like to sell. It is the 15-45x65 model. I have a Swarovski 65MM scope so this only got looked through once and has been setting in a safe since. Magnification 15-45 x Objective Lens Diameter 65 mm Linear Field of View 140-65 feet/1000 yards Angular Field Of View 2.7-1.2 degrees Close Focus 16 feet Eye Relief 18 mm Exit Pupil 4.5-1.5 mm Length 15.8 inches Weight 53.3 ounces Great scope when I looked through it once. It comes with everything it would new and has a neoprene cover. MSRP from Vortex is $849 and sells most places for $649.99 and shipping if applicable. I would like to get $600 shipped for it.

Is there a place in AZ I can go and order it when I am back in town?
-
Wow that looks great. I love all game meats I have tried even Antalope steaks are eatible to me. I will have to see if I can find some next time I come to AZ.

You can find these in a lot of UT lakes now. They are really fun to catch as they fight better then most trout. They like them because they are sterile.
