Hunting season is just around the corner. If you're in need of a reliable and clean atv I have mine for sell. Its a 2002 Polaris Sportsman 400. It has 4x4 capability. It has 360 hours and has 2948 miles. This quad has been garage kept. I am the second owner. I just did a full tune up on this quad and changed all the fluids. It has a brand new drive belt and a brand new battery. This quad is very reliable and very clean. It's in great condition. Runs and drives great!! Quad comes with a back seat and storage box. It has rifle clamps mounted on the front. Also has Kolpin hand-grip warmers. This quad is ready to go for fall hunting. Asking $3200 obo. Clean title Quad is located in Queen Creek. Selling my 1989 Jeep Comanche. This is manual transmission 5 speed. Inline 6 cylinder with a 4.0L. 4X4 is fully functional and works great. Truck has 163,000 miles. Truck has carpet, cold A/C, and aftermarket stereo and speakers. (Plug-ins are aux and USB). Truck does come with camper shell that works great. Tires will need to be replaced in about 6 months or so. Truck runs and drives great. Starts up everytime. Great off-road toy or hunting rig. This truck will go just about anywhere. PM if interested.

Yes it has AC. And it blows nice and cold! It has an oil leak but it's very slight. I change the oil every 3 months and it's never a problem. Great first little truck.

SunDevil, I called and spoke to an g&f lady last week and she advised me to mail my app friday before 5pm and so that it would arrive saturday to have the best chances. However, at this point after reading your response I agree more with what you are saying. It does make more sense. it's possible she does not know the mail schedule. Thanks for the tip.

They are open 8am-5pm. My app along with many others i'm sure arrived saturday afternoon when they were closed. They check the mail first thing in the morning and start the leftover process then. Any other apps that haven't arrived or are arriving today are too late in my opinion.

Hey everyone just thought I would share this years success with you all. Last year I was able to take my first deer ever. Luckily it was a coues. After being successful I decided to put in for the same hunt again hoping for a year of similar results. Well it was for sure similar and more. Due to a different job and work schedule i wasn't able to take as much time off for the hunt like i did last year. I only had friday, saturday, and half of sunday. I was nervous it wouldn't be enough time but as always i was just stoked to get out in God's country for a few days and hunt some deer. I ended up taking this buck sunday afternoon at the last minute i was still hunting before heading to camp to go home. I still don't know how I got so lucky to shoot him but I now have back to back bucks in this same unit. Its an awesome feeling. Anyways here's a few pictures of my bucks. They aren"t record bucks but they sure are dang rewarding to have and the some of the best venison I have ever tasted. Thanks trophyhnter. You're right though, The deer in this unit are far and few between non-the-less they are there. I have done lots of homework and scouting to find where the pockets of deer are more dense so its been a huge pay off to take two nice whiteys in this unit! Also, very true, there are the occasional giant muleys in there as well! Just gotta find em. thats why i love this unit. Its somewhat underrated for deer, but you can find toads if you really put some time in and miles on your boots in there I believe.

I used my .270 Winchester. The load i was shooting was the Winchester SuperX Power-point 150gr. I normally hunt with the 130gr. for couse but because the bear hunt was just opening up in this unit i used the 150gr. in case i got lucky to see a bear. either way im a big fan of the SuperX loads. They are great!

It's definitely a tough hunt for deer in that unit thats for sure. Because this unit has better draw odds I have put in numerous hours of scouting to find pockets of deer in there. So its rewarding to have taken two in there no doubt.

Any archery kill is a trophy non the less! Great buck and congrats man!

I was up there archery deer and turkey hunting last week. Some small bulls were bugling real early and real late. I even saw one bull with about 25 cows and he was covered in piss mud head to toe and his antlers were caked with mud too. However it was a small 6x6 and wasn't a heard bull by any means. It has rained up there A LOT and it think that is helping out a ton. Should be a GREAT hunt up there this year. The bigger bulls should be coming around real quick is my take.

Nice birds. Congrats to you guys who got them. I was in 4A for the week and ran into 5 flocks in 3 days. I had one shot at 45 yards but somehow missed. I guess those birds are smaller than you think! It was a flock of about 6 nice toms and the rest jakes and hens. Oh well maybe next weekend when I can get back out. Anyone have some strategies to getting close are calling techniques that work in the fall?..All the birds I saw never made one peep...

I put in for the 4A early archery bull tag as well. My second choice was the late archery 4A bull. Im really hoping if i don't get the early tag i get the late tag. From my understanding the late archery hunt for 4A isn't as popular because i had it in 2010 and it was by far the hardest elk hunt i have ver had. so i'm hoping i was the only one to put in for it since there was only 1 tag left. I know how to hunt the late archery hunts now, I guess we'll see. My 3,4,5 choices were the archery cow hunts. Let me know if you get through tomorrow so i can bug them too! Ha

I laugh because there have been 3 different stories related by G&F. First elkaholic was told they'd be ready and we can call by wednesday, then antmo23 was told they would be posted by friday, and when I called today the lady said the only way to find out was to wait to see my refund or a tag in the mail. Haha, i was very disappointed to say the least. Who has the right story and when can we REALLY find out?? haha I'm dying over here. ps. How many choices did everyone put down? I did all 5. i guess A tag is better than NO tag..for me anyways.
