Does anyone make a stay on overcase(neoprene) for High Landers.

You can do a lot at a border crossing if you don't get caught.

Vowell, when did you last deal with Leica Service? The reason I ask is they have made a concerted effort to improve in that area and I have dealt with them twice in the the last two years and would rate their service as excellent.

In my experience, if no USDA personnel are present, Border Patrol agents will still inspect capes. The degree of scrutiny varies considerably! As an aside, this year our deer had very few ticks.

This is a great deal. I have used this bino for seven years. I also have Swaro 12x50's, and I repeat this is a great deal on the Meopta's.

I have been going in and out of Mexico for 30 plus years. But I get cold chills thinking of the way things were routinely handled in the '80s. Things are always changing. Now days I would not consider going without someone who has current local knowledge and hopefully some real connections. It is pretty simple, what are you going to do when the wheels come off?

MMACFIVE, I do agree that it is not worth the gamble. Border Patrol on this side is just about as erratic with their "one says this, the other says that" policies. Patience is the word of the day when crossing, whichever way you are going!

FWW. I have never had anyone in Mexico look at my ammo. They(customs) almost always ask how many cartridges are you bringing, but they never have looked. I have always wondered about the potential headstamp problem with a wildcat, but I guess it depends on who you get. The military has never even asked about cartridges.
