Baby axis deer... Haha sweet picture!

Gonna be a tough one to find one of the nightforce used. Usually when someone gets one they don't sell unless the rifle is commin with it! Good luck on finding one. You won't regret it I've got a NXS 5.5-25x56 in NP-R1 and its as nice as it gets. Next one is gonna be the new nightforce B.E.A.S.T 5-25x56 in MOAR. If your willing to spend that kind of money on one I'd look at that or just go wild and look into the Schmidt & Bender scopes!

That blonde bear is gorgeous! I had one that looked similar in 34a I was hunting. Was fortunate to draw the 34a tag the past season and was hunting that bear hard. Well I put my buddy that also had the tag in the area where I had been seeing it and his first day out he shoots it. Was super excited for him. I never ended up tagging one but the OTC hunt is close so I should be able to get it done one one of the other bears i located. Good luck on tagging one of them Yogies!

The Leica 1600 CRF and the swaro 8x30 laser guide are by far the best non binocular models. They will both range 1500+ yards consistently. Optic quality with both are great. I lean more towards the Leica one because the reticle is a little sharper, unit is a little smaller and lighter and a plus is it has built in ballistics. Either one of them you can't go wrong with for between 7-800$. The vortex range finder works well but doesn't reach out half as far and is far less consistent at longer yardages. For a few hundred more you're getting way more bang for your buck with the Leica or swaro. Kind of a buy once cry once sorta deal.

If you're looking for help on your hunt but don't want to deal with hiring a guide just get a couple of buddies to go with you and help glass and such. More sets of eyes on the hills the higher the chances of finding your buck. that saves you the money of hiring a guide and will be a great time. No permits required doing that...

The AZGFD has some good starting points for 33 on their website. Be prepared for a tough hunt as there are 2 hunts prior to the jr hunt and the deer are usually holding up pretty good by then. 33 holds a lot of great deer. You guys will get to see some awesome country an lots of animals... And people...

Decided to head out and hit the lake Sunday night. Me and my regular fishing partner and my other buddy who had never gone before. It was really slow until about 11pm then it started getting good. Everyone got lots of fish even the new guy! It was a real fun night and good action. Total was 58 for the night. Right Around 400lbs of fish. I also hope everyone can make it out to the benefit shoot on the 17th! -Travis

It's now up on the website. Says about 4000 leftover tags this year.

+1 and you won't be disappointed. Mt Lion is some of the best eating you can get.
-
I really hope they make one in .338 when they come out. I've always liked the accubonds!
-
Very nice build! Looks super clean. My buddy has a 280AI in a custom rem700 Titanium action/barrel. Thing is a real shooter! He stretches it out to 1000yds all the time.
-
Hope everyone can make it! Should be a great time!

A .500 spine arrow will be fine! If she goes up in poundage above 50# I would consider going to a .400 spine arrow just for tube ability of the bow. The .500 spine arrows are factory rated safe up to 55#s. the only reason I suggest a .400 spine arrow is if she's planning on hunting you might run into some difficulty getting broadheads to tune/fly above 50#s. as far as safety goes you are well within the clear!

Best fletching jig on the market?
CWpredator replied to AZHUNTER05's topic in Bows, arrows, broadheads
I work at Robinsons Archery in tucson and I can tell you I have fletched thousands and thousands of arrows. The best most adjustable jig are the Bitzinberger jigs. They are the most accurat consistant jigs. I've used almost every jig on the market and I have always returned to the Bitzinberger. They are the most adjustable for offset and most consistant. Fletching is time consuming and you want to make sure it's accurate and the same over large quantities of arrows. If you plan on doing a lot of arrows get two. I'm fortunate to have 6 set up on the bench. Definitely helps when I have 12 dozen arrows to fletch... -
Just got hit for two 33 tags. Either Late Dec or Oct.

I know a few guys have had chase debit cards hit. Has anyone had charges on a Chase credit card show up yet?
-
+1 very well put.

WTH? I guess AZGFD forgot to draw any CWT members this season.... Well besides you! Congrats
-
Today should be the day they start hitting cards. The lady at the tucson game and fish meeting last night told me the leftover tag list should be out by the 17th and possibly the 15th.

I've been looking for months now trying to find either 300gn Berger elite hunter bullets or just some of the 300gn Sierra Matchking HPBT's. anyone have any suggestions on where to find them or am I Just SOL? My supply is out and now my gun is just decorating my safe collecting dust for the time being...

Makes me wish I had a tag. It's been a long long long time for me...I guess I'm fortunate I get to go help my dad, mom, sister, and step dad all try and tag a bull elk this year; minus my sister with a early rifle cow tag.I don't mind being the caller(family guide)/packing grunt. Sure couldn't think of a better way to burn vacation time than in gods country chasing elk.
