They aren't as quiet as a berber fleece, but they are a fleece outer. You get some swish, but not any different from what I've noticed on sitka windstopper. They are NOT loud like a nylon rain jacket is. Thanks, Ron

You guys are getting me excited for this year's hunt! I hope it is an early rut, or at least a good rut this year. I personally feel the intensity of the rut is dependent upon many things, but I think probably the number one factor is moisture. It seems like a good year for water and feed, so I'm hoping/expecting the rut to be a good one this year! Ron

I've been messing around with Trimble Outdoor Navigator. http://www.trimbleoutdoors.com/Products/TrimbleOutdoorsNavigator/ It uses the MyTopo topo (USGS Quads) and arial photo maps that can be downloaded to the phone beforehand for use when you don't have service. So far it has worked well for me. Ron

I used the gpsfiledepot maps for years before switching to huntinggpsmaps. The huntinggpsmaps are kinda pricey, but well worth it imho. Gpsfiledepot maps do the trick though for the price. Ron

I was in the Mesa Sportsman's Warehouse last week and noticed a flier for a shed buyer that would be there on May 11 and 12. Does anyone know how much the buyer is paying for the different grade of sheds? I called SW, but they didn't know the prices. Thanks, Ron

Pack has been sold... I really like this pack and have been debating whether I wanted to sell it, but it isn't doing me any good hanging up in the closet. Pack is an Eberlestock J104 with small belt pouch, reversible (blaze orange/hardwoods) panel, and spike camp duffel. Pack has been used, but not abused. It has packed some meat and horns, so there are a few blood stains on/in it. Pack and accessories are Realtree Hardwoods. Pictures of the pack are below.
