This is why some people don't deserve to hunt
Bandido243 replied to Bobbyhcp's topic in The Campfire
I met a "hunter" out in the field once who asked, "they're the ones with white on the tail right?" -
Remington 700 in .243, no scope. I sighted it in and never touched the sights again. I use it to this day since 1980. I thought we were talking about deer rifles. My first was a Sears and Roebuck bolt action .22. I was 11 yrs old. I loved that thing. Killed a lotta bunnies, jacks, quail and coyotes with it. Someone that served with me at Ft Lewis hopefully still has it. Thievin' bastard.

So I have a late Dec tag. So where should I go? So whitetail are the ones with white on the tail right? So I'm too lazy to learn about them and go find them on my own so tell me where to go. Ok? But I don't want any sweet spots. I just want to know what you know about these things/places so I don't have to work as hard. Ok? Thx in advance.

Saw that stuff a while back. That's just horrible.

Shouldn't be.

Obivously crossing private land is a different thing. Private is private. But that's not the case here. There are parcells of private land within the state land. Access does not have to be through private land in this case.

If a rancher leases land can he keep hunters out?
-
Yeah I know. I just like to hear it sometimes when I hear of some crazy rancher kicking someone off public land at gunpoint. Let's see him pull that on me someday.

Takes a certain kind of guy to "use the backdoor". And I'm not one of those.

Texas heart shot = shot of desperation. Yeah yeah here it comes . . .
-
People take bad shots every day of the season. Whether they get excited, rush the shot or take a shot which they just can't make. I've known people who just walk away and don't follow up. I'm not saying it's ok. I'm just saying it's nothing new. I say NO to butt shots though.

What's next? Bunny balls?

. . . what all these guys would do if nobody told them where to go.

This is silly in my opinion. Hunt on girl!! If I had a daughter I'd want her to be like this one. http://bluenationreview.com/satans-daughter-needs-check-privilege/ Maybe I just like pretty girls with guns.

I actually agree with you, I was asking 300 why he thought that to build off my comment made in the post about spot and stalk or blind and tree stand sitting. I say that because it takes absolutely zero skill set to sit on your a$$ in a ground blind or in a tree stand over water and kill something. Someone actually tried to say that it's not easy finding a spot to put a ground blind or tree stand, any numb skull could figure out to set it next to water or near a large game trail. Anyways, I agree, back east "hunting" isn't really hunting. It's waiting and killing. My favorite part is when they get dressed up in all the camo and all the scent cover sprays and then go sit in an elevated blind over a corn field with windows and a heater. Go get 'em! Haha Oh oh. That's gonna start some stuff. Hahahaha.

Hunters like to hunt. Psychos like to kill.

Soldiers don't serve the President. We serve the people of our country. But we have to follow the Presidents orders no matter how ate up he is. We serve our country. . -

Stay away from the Army? Really? Most important thing is to serve for the right reasons. The rest will follow. -
Thoughts or experience with Winchester ballistic silver tip ammo
Bandido243 replied to jcarter's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I won't use them. Grouping is one thing. Meat damage is another. Dad told me about them but I used one on a deer. Did alot more meat damage than I wanted. I went back to core lokts with a quickness and gave away the rest of the silvertips. -
I've hunted 29 and 30 all my hunting life. And 29 is like that. They're in there though. Good luck ey and gimme a pm if you want.

I used to hunt with my dad. Sometimes we would get invited to join others but dad didn't like that after I started hunting. It was me and dad all the time. We could be out in different canyons and we would always find each other without making plans to do so. We would just gravitate toward the same areas. Sometimes we would find the same deer from different angles. Now its just me.
