Haven't seen any deer in the four years I've lived in Maricopa. You probably would be better off heading towards Picacho or Gila Bend.

10% is more focused towards the smaller capacity cases like the 223. Optimal charge weight for that cartridge is about 25 grains, which gives a loading range of 2.5 to 3 grains. The larger capacity magnum cases usually have a 5% min to max load range. Start at 73 and work up in .5 grain increments.

You should be able to make your own from 7 mag, 300 win mag, 338 mag etc. I think you can get forming dies from midway. Just an option if your search doesnt turn up anything.

Strip and Kaibab tags are draw only. Check the regs for which OTC archery units are open in Dec, Jan, and August.

Are the 44 mag dies carbide?

Check if the stock is contacting the barrel. Also verify the scope mounts are tight.
