I took hunter Education with the bow hunter portion, some of the guys on range day couldn't hit the target at 20 yards, still got their card, they need a training class!!!

e-Scouters. They come too sites like this,everybody gives them information on where to go after I just spent a weekend in my truck beatin the heck out of it with all the wear and tear on tires , big money in gas and all the money spent at the map store just to scout out areas. After finding agood area I will be hunting opening morning I come home , flip on the computer and there is somebody else telling a E-SCOUTER EXACTLY WHERE I WILL BE OPENING MORNING. After getting home late on a Sunday night with all the money and effort it is a lot frustrating. good point!

Who did the muley sheds for you? I got a set (5X4) I'd like mounted.

Right on Bob! In fact, the gun hunters might blast me for this, but maybe it would even be more important for a gun hunter to be checked out and qualified than a bowhunter. I think that it would be easier for some yahoo to grab a gun and "go hunting" that it would be for him to grab a bow and go hunting. Mark You two guys are right on the money!!!!

On my last 2 scouting trips in 35a the skeeters were eating us alive, in the morning and evening. Bring on the bug repellant!

Unit 32 has some nice mulies, but sorry can't help you never seen a carp there!

Roadhunters, e-scouting is not illegal, road hunting is!

I haven't graduated from camping 101 yet, but stayed at Jacob lake lodge for the archery hunt last year, I could see how you could get used to it!

I totally agree!!!! Road hunters messed up a shot I had last year on the North kaibab, I can't understand their logic they think their bowhunters and never get out of the vehicles, cruising the roads, me and AZRDHD even saw one supposed archer with his bow drawn , truck parked in the road, trying to get a shot off, AZRDHD was gonna say something but the "hunter" got in his truck and left. The worst unit though was unit 32 had the Nov. mulie rifle hunt in 2002, Atvs up down the roads, even spoke to one of them and he was proud of the fact he never got off his atv, and bragged about his trophy deer(a spike) he shot , that we drove by as we were going to a canyon to hunt. Don't get me started I don't like road hunters.

Grizzly your right the walmart here in Casa grande, has already started mark downs, time to stock up. Muzzy's are down to $13 for 3 pack, I paid $17 last month.

We always set up the day before the hunt starts. During our scouting trips we'll pick out 2 or 3 good camp locations, as we learned in years past when we only picked one ,someone arrived 2 days before us and set up, so we spent time in search of a new one.

Coosefan sounds like you got a exciting hunt ahead of you , with the potential to take a real monster mulie, if the rut is starting to kick in the big boys will come out of the wood work by your hunt, can't wait to see the photos of your hunt, their always great.

I'm heading down to 35a on Thurs. I'm looking forward to it ,1st whitetail hunt in 12 years. Then my kids got the 36a jr hunt in Nov.(we'll be chasing Mulies though , unless a Wt comes across their path). The Kaibab is simply awesome snow or not, that place is Mule deer heaven.

My test results are different, PSE bows rule!!!! Obiviously a flawed test as the Mach X didn't rank among the top bows.

My son almost stepped on rattler on our first scout trip in 35a.
