mulie hunter

There is a BEAST running between my house and the hospital... He easily goes 200 non-typical... I have setup a salt rock in my back yard but so far they just ignore it and eat the flowers... Because we have so many deer in the backyard my girlfriend thinks that hunting is NO BIG DEAL... J- What are property prices, I think I'll buy just for hunting season.

I didn't get drawn, but that was my first choice,some nice bulls in that unit.

I agree with Dogman68 North kaibab still has good numbers of deer and offers the greatest chance at harvesting a Mule deer of a lifetime in Az, and I also believe it is being mismanaged. I love to hunt the Kaibab in Sept.. Azp&y don't write off the Kaibab because of what you've heard, it is absolutely some of the most beautiful country in Az. If you hunt ten days up there you will most definetly have shot oppurtunities at quality bucks, not to mention the Turkeys. Guess you know where I'll be in Sept..

I heard of a herd near a ghost town called Sasco that a rancher had let loose, but the person who told me about them said word got out about them on the internet and they just about got wiped out. I have hunted the area and never seen them. I think it would be great to have huntable populations of hogs in Az.

Since a trip to Alaska is not in my budget, this is the next best thing. Thanks young hunter for the awesome photos.

I think most true archery hunters could agree with that, because once you start bowhunting, I mean serious bowhunting, Rifle hunting is just not as exciting. Try having a monster mule deer feeding within 40 yards, my hearts beating so fast i'm wondering if the deer can hear it,....that's a rush I don't get from a 200 yard shot(nothing against rifle hunting,I still do it occassionally and my kids rifle hunt, so don't take that wrong) I put in for archery Javelina, I put in for archery elk, If archery deer was a draw I would put in for that. So my choice of hunting is definetly bow and arrow. I still don't think the numbers of bowhunters is as great as the number of rifle hunters, and I know far less deer are harvested by archers.
