I'm thinking about buying a bench made Saddle mountain or Hidden canyon skinning knife. Anyone own one? Appreciate your opinions on these knives or one you consider a good skinning knife.

Thanks for the replies it came down to the knives of Alaska alpha wolf and benchmade saddle mountain. Going with the saddle mountain skinner.

Price on the bench made is 115 and 149. Not in a hurry to purchase, I would like to buy one before Jan archery season. My outdoor edge kodi pak is still one of my favorites. I'm looking for a solid skinning knife that holds a edge. Thanks for the input so far.

I just got back from a scouting trip on the bab. Must say looks like a great year for antler growth. Saw some amazing bucks. And turkeys looking good there,saw about 60 turkeys during the trip. Can't wait until next week!!! Good luck to all archers statewide!

Yeah I agree on the Vortex not worth the money! But this rangefinder is worth every penny. Still amazed at how fast it ranges

Wow! This rangefinder is Awesome! I owned a Vortex ranger 1000 this blows that away. Super fast range readout. Red led display is awesome. I highly recommend this range finder.

Slick trick are proven by many hunters on here. I haved killed many big game animals with them, Elk, Deer, Javelina. Two pass through shots on elk, both died within 60 yards of where they were arrowed. So I think it about shot placement versus arrow staying in the animal. Just my opinion. Yeah I'm biased on Slick tricks been using them since 2010.
