Yes, because "treat every gun as if it's loaded, be sure of your target and beyond, shoot/don't shoot scenarios, and basic marksmanship " are Az specific values. And yes, I have attended both states hunters ed programs the the uniqueness that you alluded to is overstated. Can't believe you had to bring Jolly Ole St Nick into the conversation. Sounds like someone may have gotten coal in their stocking growing up. Me, I always got a large orange, and never figured out why except I guess it made a good filler. Cheers to not getting carpal tunnel syndrome while putting in for hunts.

Dear AZGFD, This was on my wish list, someday I'd like to see us be able to put in for multiple hunts (not a party hunt) for family members and pay all in one shot. Multiple species, multiple hunters, and different hunts/BPs on one check out is what I will ask for next. the current setup is a huge PIA when you are the "hunt coordinator" for the family. Also out of state hunters ed does not qualify for BP? That stinks as the Mrs. and the boys took theirs in Idaho. Lucky I still have my AZ hunters Ed card from 1984.

I love how those SpyPoint cams print the GPS coordinates at the bottom! Wishful thinking I guess! 🤣 Great bucks!

Just remember to break the lugs loose before the tire gets off the ground. I also have used three pieces of 2x6's staggered as a ramp.

Desert Hills got hammered with 1/2” hail and heavy rains. Guess I get to look at my flat roof pickup in the am.

I have a steel Jiffy Jack and at the risk of sounding immodest, I was able to change a blown tire on the ole Trav-A-Long on the side of I-20 just outside of Birmingham, in about 8 minutes solo without disturbing the ponies (except for the brief wobble as the tire separated). Lucky for me the boys from Talladega didn't see me and try to recruit me to work in the pits! Using what you have is great too! Also don't let anyone here give you grief, I had an idea awhile back of a fabric that would stick together and you could pull it back apart, then stick it together again. A very unique design that involved loops and hooks made of plastic fabric...... Apparently I told too many people about it.

Unfortunately, happy accident I picked that scene but kudos to you for your encyclopedic knowledge cinematic history. Truth be told I googled deer and rabbit pics and that one came up. I did however have a vague recollection of a pic like that one although the details of the movie are lost to me. Other than Bambii's mom gets it in the end which may seem like fuel to the anti's but it represents numerous family meals to me. I have never understood the other side's desire to live in a sanitary world where they outsource the hunting and gathering it takes to survive then complain about cow farts, chicken confinement, and fertilizer runoff. Also, looks like that doe did not get the memo that owls are federally protected.... Nature is awesome!

Not really all that surprising to me. Their friendship (deer and rabbit) goes back a ways and is well documented.

Ok, cool Saw the AC, that's nice! Do you have the th350 trans or did you do an OD trans like a 700R4 or 4L60?

Nice little rig! That instrument cluster gives it a wow factor. Hugger orange is one of my favorite colors. Would be sweet to do a 4wd conversion on that one and make her a K-10. Curiosity has me wanting to ask other questions but since I am not a buyer, I won't waste your time. GLWS

I bought the scabbard from a friend about 15 years ago along with some other assorted horse tack that belonged to his relative who had passed. I figure between the maker in the Patton date somebody here would know what rifle it goes to. My guess was something like a 3040 Krag. Obviously, the straps are not original. I put those on. With all the firearms historians on the site, I’m sure I’ll get a definitive answer. So what do you think?
-
Thanks, Awesome detail! Now I guess I need to buy a Harley Liberator! Owning this scabbard just got expensive…
-
Thanks! Great…. Now I guess I gotta own one. Glad it’s chambered in 30-06.

Agreeing with above but for the sake of conversation….

In my mind, classifieds are for selling stuff. Campfire is for conversations like this. Only reason I saw this was it showed up on the top right of my screen. I generally don't look in "other big game".

Prolly should have posted this in Campfire. Likely would have got more participation.

1st is 19th ave looking N toward Anthem where Skunk Creek crosses hours after the rains stopped. 2nd pic is Skunk Creek E of 19th ave 3rd is 11th ave looking North between Madock Rd and Joy Ranch. My buddy’s kids tried to drive to work. Me and the boy drove my Super Duty to go get them and the water on 11th ave was over my irrigation boots to my knees. It got pretty western here in unincorporated Maricopa County.

Might have to keep your powder dry til you get a coveted crossing 2-fer shot. Good luck with your hunts (ammo hunting and dove hunting).

Really helps if you spray before the weeds go to seed too. After two seasons maintenance will be a lot lighter. I noticed a couple popping up now after our recent rains. Time to get to work.

"Only blemish, ol lady kissed a pole barn doing about 40mph backwards. $37500 cash or trade for 2020 Dodge Cummins with similar equipment." I am so close to getting this deal done! I found a 2020 Cummins and I will ask the Mrs. to reverse it into a pole barn at 40 mph so it has "similar equipment". Trouble is, I don't have a pole barn..... but I figure we could cruise the neighborhood and use somebody else's pole barn. Also, I don't have much experience in creating a rear main seal leak... Still working out the details of my plan though.

It’s for sale, not on sale! Would you consider trade for my entire Doge Coin portfolio? I can throw in my wife's 13 year old cat that has a heart murmur. Not gonna lie, kinda worried if Edge can’t keep this cream puff going and fix a rear main leak, I don’t like my odds… GLWS

here is the mix RM 43 mix 2oz per gallon of water 2,4-D mix 1 oz per gallon A few drops of dish soap to act as a surfactant As you know the Glyphosate kills everything The 2,4-D Is a broadleaf herbicide The dish soap reduces the surface tension to allow it to spread over the leaves uniformly. to be clear We are talking 3 ounces of chemical per gallon in a backpack sprayer or whatever you’re using. Also Marker dye (if you choose to use it ) is messy stuff but it’s pretty helpful and seeing where you missed and keeping you from reapplying areas you’ve already done. As with any of these, they all work best if you mow or weed whack first. Because then the plants are struggling to heal and regrow in the drink that stuff down faster. I’m pretty sure that’s the technical explanation… Then give it two weeks and they’ll be dead as long as you remember there are 8 ounces in one cup Of course you can make it stronger but I believe they call that diminishing returns as chemical is not cheap. as an aside: The guy gave me that recipe 20 years ago also taught me how to trap gophers. My wife is counting her blessings that I never caught enough to make that coat I promised her.

I received an similar email that included seven other members that I did not recognize. Logged in and didn't find anything out of order. Looked up the name ( Elisio ) that sent the message and found no results. Do admins want a copy of that email note?
