Seen a small 3x3 pulled out behind the black hills on the first hunt while scouting for mule deer. LOT of water around there due to all the cattle. Was out last weekend for my brothers mule hunt and didn't see anything come out of there. Seen a one horned spiked wt.

That buck was trying to grow two heads. I bet there will never be another buck like that to show up on this site. Is there a score on that buck at all?

Anyone hunt or scout with friends or family that like to go with but can't stand the wait? I'm lucky enough to have hunting in my blood and can glass for hours and enjoy the hunt for more than just the kill. My brother on the other hand can't last at all. He has a hunt in a couple weeks and I hope he kills. Most off I hope he takes the experience of the hunt and learns much more than taking home a trophy. How can I teach him and others that's it's more than the kill and more the love of the hunt and being with friends and family?

Should be in the AZ regs. I know the rifle tag is a draw and for a none native the tag is pretty pricy. Not sure about the archery tags tho.

Was wondering how long it took for you guys or gals to get there first buck with a bow. I'm really going to hunt hard this January for a wt and hope I can accomplish what most have already. Spot and stalk no stands or blinds. Thanks in advance!

Just looked at that link you posted JLW but I live in southeast AZ And my brother has a hunt first of november. It's been getting down to low to mid 30s at night but it hasn't been steady. What do you guys think....just quarter him up if we kill and throw him in a cooler?

I don't know how those guys back east sit in a stand and blinds all day. And to think about it I've never herd or seen a eastern spot and stalk hunt.

I've never dealt with them but planet optics.com has free shipping on everything and they have tons of stuff to chose from. Kowa has a 12x50 for $275 and there a really nice glass! There is a couple pairs over here at gila outdoors.

I was told the one all the way to the left was his wifes. Not sure if I should say this or not but when I was down there one of the guys that works there had a dead head of a coues that scored 141!!! I couldn't believe it!! The mass was unbelievable!
