second owner 85k original miles 1.8L fuel injected 4-valve suzuki sidekick engine power steering - from suzuki sidekick 3" Rancho lift I've had it for about 15yrs call if interested - been a very special toy for us! Kurt 602-524-2332 Swapping a few PM's with fellas interested in my sammy... just so ya know, the days of buying "cheap" sammies are gone. Used to be you could find a decent or beat sammy for $500-1500... since some folks recognize how ridiculously-priced UTV's have become... $15-25k, the Samurai alternative is more practical and affordable. So a decent or beat sammy costs now more and are harder to find. There are a few that have been sensibly modified for more speed, more power, more comfort, more clearance... and others are customized to an extreme that in my opinion - no longer makes sense, V8's, crazy high lifts etc. This one was modified to be reliable and practical and has been that way for a decade - it wont be found on Craigslist bargain cave section. Or I'll just keep her.

Blessed with more bull tags this year, and smart enough to hire Lance and Timberland again! We had bulls and opportunities every day, and did so much changin' it up in the first few days that covered one extreme end of the unit to the other. Lance took to the time to ensure our skills, equipment and confidence was ready, even assisted with some needed bow tuning. Having taken a late archery bull in Unit 1 with Lance last fall, I passed on several smaller bulls he called in, and failed to arrow a few beautiful trophies he put on a plate for me. We hunted hard EVERY day, made fantastic and memorable stalks EVERY day! I really became comfortable with the fact that the hunt is the sum of the steps, not the dead animal. We were fortunate to have Lance's son Ty help us on the second weekend when my son arrowed his bull! No father could ask for a better memory! We started our pre-dawn morning with a bugle that was answered enthusiastically! By the time shooting light was available, 3 bulls were lining up to close in on Lance and Grant's position, brushed into a small Juniper tree. The first presented a 50yrd shot that missed, but the second was lead-in by his herd cow initially to 15-20yrds, then the bull made a fatal mistake by presenting a 35yrd shot. His 6x7 bull scored 314, but accounted for 417lbs of meat delivered to Casey's in Flag. They actually thought we were off-loading two bulls. A closer look at the bulls teeth revealed a bull that was probably 10+ years old - with teeth ground down to nearly NOTHING! Clearly he was on the decline and his rack was much bigger a few years ago! I cannot say enough about the commitment, the passion, the instincts and dedication that go into making memories, TLO-style! Lance and Ty do a great job of chronicling the exciting moments and we have tons of pictures and videos of bulls trotting up in response to their excellent calling skills. From one dad to another, Thank you Lance for my bucketlist bull-bustin' memory! Cant wait for the next!! Kurt Larson

Magpul Dynamics ditches Colorado, moves to Texas and Wyoming
GodIsGood replied to elpepe25's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I doubt the State of CO is upset about the loss of jobs or tax revenues from these companies - seeing as they will now be making hand-over-fist money by taxing every pothead in the country who is flocking to New Seattle. SMOKE-UP Colorado! and may the weed be ever in your favor! Although - tens of thousands of dope-smoking welfare dead-weights eating Cheetos and playing call of duty.... wont someone actually have to work to provide for all the dead wood? Or will they print their own money IN WEED WE TRUST! -

Opinions on Phil Roberston suspension from A&E
GodIsGood replied to longbowpilot's topic in Political Discussions related to hunting
I havent heard the exact language he used, but he is a calm, sensitive and God-fearing man without a hateful bone in his bod... No matter how he worded his opinion - he was gonna be attacked! Matt 24:9 I would be surprised and disappointed if the rest of the cast/family doesnt find a family-friendly way to tell A&E to kiss their butts! They certainly dont rely on the series revenue to enjoy life. -

Timberland Outfitters - Fantastic Service AGAIN!

This is my second remarkable service/success experience with Timberland Outfitters... somewhere in the CWT history is a story from me when Jake from TLO came to my rescue in 5B-N on a moment's notice when I shot off a flare to CWT. Jake provided OUTSTANDING guide service- so I sought their help on my late archery bull tag in Unit 1. Several knowledgeable hunters said I was nuts for putting-in for late Unit 1, and frankly I dont recall requesting that unit or why I did... but GodIsGood and I was blessed with amazing memories, tremendous service and a handsome bull! This time Lance Crowther met me near Springerville shortly before opening day. He had already located a herd to pursue and had several back-up plans ready to execute. A wildcard that complicated an already difficult hunt was a storm that was rapidly approaching. Lance predicted that we would be done [if I my aim was true] by Monday evening. We pursued the herd located the day before without success, but Lance was successfully communicating with the elk - even called in a nice shooter 5x5 bull who wanted company, but winded us before coming into bow range. Lance validated his claim that he can communicate with elk YEAR ROUND, without the rut-factor. He had cows giving away their position, bulls bugling, used horns to entice bulls down to us... he is truly the ELK WHISPERER!!! The storm threw a wrench into our pursuit plans and Lance had his hands full propping up my optimism, but he knew all along that the storm was a blessing because the disruption would scatter the herds - who might otherwise be dormant - THEN they would become mobile looking for companionship after the storm - when he anticipated we would score. He was spot-on right! But during the storm Lance changed up our tactics including hanging a tree stand on a special spring, building a weather-resistant sniper blind on an active wallow, and glassing, GLASSING, AND MORE GLASSING. When we weren't in hot-pursuit, he shared advice, fundamentals and advanced tips on how to close the deal - and what NOT to do, should a bull present himself for a shot. Without that guidance, I doubt I would have harvested my bull! Lance and Timberland Outfitters definitely goes beyond GUIDE with GUIDance! This is my fifth "guide" investment among 3 different service providers - I can say with GREAT confidence, if you want to fill your tag, make a memory, grow as a hunter - call Lance and go with Timberland!!!

Also wanna send 'props' to Rhonda at Corner Archery in Glendale. She helped me sooooo much with equipment and hone my shooting and and and... she is a wonderful servant who really cares about her customers! It's my personal belief that we should support small businesses like Corner Archery rather than run straight to giants like Cabelas or Sportsmans Warehouse. Rhonda has a HUGE and successful program to teach kids how to shoot well and shoot safe! Thanks again Rhonda, you're a great friend! ANXIOUS to see more beautiful from Gametrails Taxidermy [GTT on CWT]. Bret had done beautiful work for me in the past and I also recommend him to everyone! -
