The Ruger VLE is a non-catalog production so it may be hard to find any info on it. Just google "Ruger M77 Mark II VLE" and you'll get a little info. It does have a factory trigger job. The Mauser is not an old military rifle, it was manufacured in 1996 I believe. This is the sporting, straight pull design, and something of a rare bird. The Sako Hunters have nice walnut stocks, and the TRG-S has a syn. stock. He also has some scopes for sale, Leupold, Burris, Pentax.... I dont have a tag but I know where I'd go in 20, but my spot is a tuff hike and in this case I am trying to help a pastor at my church who is 70yrs young and living with a heart transplant. He is not sufficiently healthy to walk far or in rough country, so I am hoping to set him up in a ground blind for a handgun shot at a pig. If ever there was a dude worthy of sharing a hunting tip or honey hole - this old guy is it! He has served the needs of others his whole life and is nearing a world record for life-after-transplant years... mostly I figure cuz God isnt done with him. We have already scouted northeast of lake pleasant harbor/rv - seen nothing, and north of Quintero Golf, seen some tracks, but not enough to justify setting up a blind. Appreciate any ez access tips you're willing to share - he does have and likes to use his 4x4 quad

Any schmuck can sue any schmuck, and the survivors of an intruder you sent to heck can tie up and spend every dollar you have [and then some] if they convince a scumbag attorney that you acted with malice of forethought to send they loved-one to heck. Fine print includes the type of weapon and type of ammo you chose to defend your castle. What you say to the police after a shooting is CRITICAL. Even though you did the right and necessary thing to defend your fam and castle - you should SAY NOTHING UNTIL YOU DISCUSS THE INCIDENT WITH AN ATTORNEY - even if it's just a public defender.
