Last day buck after 13 days of looking for the big one. Super happy with the results and support from brother and friends! Saw hundreds of does and 50+ bucks. Early on 5 bucks in the 90-95 range, passed on them cuz we're lookinfor110. Been several years since I had a December hunt, forgot how great it can be.

Any suggestions for the best roads/route to drive from Phoenix to the southern end of 5bn? Will be towing a low-medium clearance trailer that cannot tolerate the rocky back roads in the area. Thanks!.

Sat a water hole most of the day yesterday...six WTs came in...does and fawns. Very cool experience. They don't stay long, average of three minutes from entry to exit. -

Nice writeup and thanks for passing along the learning. Any observations on how far a buck will travel to standing water? -

Me, my brother and his boy got Deer! Each put in separately so may be hunting throughout the fall...

Found that cc information has to be updated for each species applied for, so I had to update separately for antelope and elk.

Did some work on my 700 and now have a much better rifle. Not quite minute of angle but close. Most of what was done has already been mentioned. Reload or high end factory ammo. Timney adjustable trigger, better than good optics with turrets. Add a bipod and definitely lap the scope rings. For emphasis, lap the scope rings.
