TTT It's almost Christmas, I'm sure someone needs a last minute gift. Just think of all of the additional hunting opportunities you can apply for next year when you have a muzzle loader. -
I know you said you'd rather buy a factory built rifle and not a custom gun but if you want "Long Range" and "Light Weight" all in one sentence then talk to Morgan at Patriot Precision. http://www.patriotprecisionaz.com/index.html He has a new rifle line that is geared for the ultra light weight long range crowd. I don't think it's on his website yet but he has started taking orders on them. I was just in Vegas last weekend at the RMEF Elk Camp expo and met up with Morgan while I was there so I could check it out. It's a small profile, very light weight ~5 lbs. rifle that is capable of exceeding 1000 yards.

Or how about the overlapping archery / rifle tags in 9. Looks like they want to move archery back to being before rifle (used to be muzzy) but the rifle tag starts in the middle of archery hunt. I'm thinking they're going to move those dates around for the final draft.

Just thought I'd share with everyone watching this thread that I'm selling my muzzy in the classified section. http://www.coueswhitetail.com/forums/topic/61902-muzzleloader-fs-cva-accura-v2-lr-30-barrel/ I'm open to offers. The muzzy world just isn't for me. I got some good groups and some average groups out of this gun and I truly believe with more time available it would shoot better than I got it to after seeing results that other guys in this forum are getting. Good luck to everyone on their upcoming hunts. -

I only tested to 200. Typical life getting in the way of having enough time to truly test every scenario and distance that I wanted to.
