when an average hunter gets a strip tag. In the field updates

Found out where one of the bucks in your first post ended up. -
Quick update on our trip. Working out some discrepancies with the boat so I'm not posting many details yet. All of the boats arriving at the docks Friday night were pretty dismal with not many fish caught. The bite appeared to have shut down. We started slow on Saturday with only 9 fish on deck all day. Moved south all night into Sunday morning. Got right into them at first light and scratched all day picking up about 100 YFT and a handful of BFT. One small dorado the whole trip. Last hour of light on Sunday I picked up a 50# BFT. Ended up being the biggest fish we caught. Night fishing was dead. No squid in the water. Tried different jigs and flat irons, not a single bite at night. Great trip and great crew but not going into details until we get things straightened out.

I’m starting to notice a trend...

Bringing up an old post but I'm having the same issue with my Outdoorsmans Optic Pack. Did this silicone spray end up as a good long lasting fix or what was your end result?

Did you guys make it down into Mexican waters? We made sure our whole crew has passports in case the fishing is better down there. Sounds like you had a good trip overall but I'm a little bummed to hear the food wasn't all that great. I've been spoiled in the past like you said with great cooks in small galleys. We head out Friday night. Any last minute advice? Sounds like 20-30# fluoro with #2 or #1 hooks? Any particular hook style seem to work better?

Lol As a matter of fact we are. Hiring like crazy right now. Know any good electricians?

Pretty much the same for our trip. A handful of us take it serious and would love to target the bigger fish but it’s a company outing for our foremen and supervisors so we’re going to be opportunistic and go for any good bite. It sounds like it’s shaping up to be epic either way!

I'm boarding the Excalibur on the 30th for a 2.5 day with our own private charter also. Would like to hear how your trip goes and see what last minute advice you might have as far as the bite and tackle. Hope you have a killer trip!! Looking forward to your report.

I just bought the new style large model and my swaro 15's fit but are very tight and do not come out with one hand. Tough to get out with two hands. I know nothing about what the seller here has but just a heads up for anyone looking to buy the new model.

Still have both cams for sale and it's about time to get your summer scouting on! I've had a few of my other cams out for a few weeks already. Can't wait to watch them grow and start patterning.

Selling 2 barely used Moultrie P-150i trail cams with security boxes. These are the panoramic cameras that can be set to take pictures in pano or in single location. Also shoot video. One has been used in the field for a very short time (maybe 1 month) and the other has never been used other than a test run in the yard for a couple days. Both work like new. Asking $100.00 each with security boxes. REDUCED to $80 each or $150 for both.

I'll take them -
I have no idea if this is what you're looking for but you can see what looks like a couple of marks showing a camp or some sort of civilization right next to the tracks, just west of the crossing. Topo map from the 40's era and then an overlay of a more current topo. Sibyl 1.pdf Sybil 2.pdf
