barnesboy we have two creedmoors in our family they are awesome. im not trying to step on toes,but you have a long action take advantage of it and take stomps advice i promise you wont be sorry look at the reloading manuals, and read about the 6.5 06 really a nice caliber for coues just my two cents. im sure you will enjoy whatever you decide on

Two of my boys have savage model 11 trophy hunters in creedmoor they shoot very nice and do the job well. I bought my wife an older Fn mauser 243 that stomps brother did a really nice job on the stock i wish i had done before and after pics its a really sweet rifle as well.

my opinion so take it for what its worth if your not reloading i would go 270 or 2506 because of the factory ammo you have choices for good bullets, if your gonna reload one of the 6.5 flavor alll the way.

spooby i love to catch catfish thats what i fish for most of the time i have been to roosevelt twice this month and have been skunked for flatties but i am persistant and will get one . We use to chase them at san carlos a bunch, but thats over now. my flathead rig got stolen so im in the process of gettin new stuff. We have done ok here on the gila but its really low and hard to find a good hole. those are some killer fish congrats.

murphy, my son and i have been using imr 4895 with great results in a 3006 and a 7mm ackley improved but have found it to be really temp sensitive especially in the cold if that helps at all h 4831 is what you need

try the new sierra tipped match kings stomp 442 nephew has been shooting them very well in our matches to 500

I just bought my daugter a 2506 she does pretty good with it.

hogue makes them choate and boyds but but they are not like the ones you have in your post but worth looking at.
