    Pre-Workout?

200 mg deca durabolin mixed with 5 to 10 mg daily halotestin will do also. Anadrol by itself is best though for the big time pump. Gotta love the late 80's. Then came sustanon 250.

    Surprise antelope tag!!!

What a sweet surprise. Had a friend get a unit 9 early rifle tag yesterday, and he thought he checked his card and no hits. Congrats on the surprise.

What's with all the clowning on cyber scouters?

Couldn't have said it better myself kingjeff. Never hurts to help a fella out with some spots to try. Should be done through private message though.
  5. Can a topic disappear completely. Did this one get nuked??
  6. I want to make it clear that i wasn't singling anyone out with my post. I have no idea and have never heard of the broadhead brotherhood or anyone that's in it. I'm painting a very broad brush with regards to my post. My post i designed to hopefully enlighten the general public as to how our sport has turned into what it has in such a short period of time. In less than 15 years the whole mentality has changed and it's directly proportionate to all the hype being injected into the sport. It's blatantly obvious that all the hype and the super hypers have whipped the sport and the participants into a frenzy. I got caught up in it for awhile myself. Just know that the super look at me's out there are in charge of where the sports going and it isn't good in any way. The angle is simple, to get to your wallet. Huntings really a simple sport, and takes only time in the field to learn. Look at the super hypers for what they are, just trying to fatten their pocket books at the expense of the sport, while the average guy falls into the trap of it being rocket science. It's not rocket science, and basically very simple to learn.

    15A, 15B, and 18A ELK HUNT

Toughest elk hunt in the state. Going to be a rough one. Lots of scouting to find any elk.
  8. No biggie, guess i missed the mud slinging, and glad i did. The sports been so hyped into the ground it's changed the whole dynamic with regards to people's mentalities as to how they view the sport and how they treat their fellow hunters. As more and more pseudo heroes emerge trying to get everyone to follow them via social media i would expect it to get much worse in the next 10 years. 10 years from now we will all look back and wish it was only as bad as it is now, saying remember the old days. It's not rocket science, it's just the the simple, enjoyable, friendship bearing sport we call hunting. Thank your local hyper for where we are now, and the ego behind that hyper is the culprit. Hint,,,,,, no real 5th degree blackbelt tells you he's a 5th degree blackbelt. You would have to pry it out of a real blackbelt holder that he even has a belt. The same goes for hunting. The one's acting like they are 5th degrees most likely got their belt from a gumball machine. You can take this to the bank.

    12AW or 12BW ?

12 a west for the early is a more enjoyable hunt and easier over all. More big bucks number wise to hunt in 12 a verses 12 b for the early hunt. Late hunt wise they r equal.

    Worth the Weight

I carry the Sts 65 hd 25x to 50x swaro. I can't imagine not having a sporting scope in the pack in glass able country. A spotting scope has saved me hundreds of uneeded stocks when the animal looked big through the 15 power binos at distance but after Looking through the 65 hd spotter and only then determined it wasn't worth it. For trophy hunting the spotters a must. I personally wouldn't carry the 95 as much as I hike because the 65 is enough In almost every situation. However I wish I had a 95 to put in my truck looking far way from the road parked on. That's when the 95 feels like it's a must for 1.5 mile plus looks when not hiking while hunting.

    Outdoorsmans

I'm so thankful for the outdoorsman for so many things they have done for me customer service wise that i don't know where to begin. Everyone down there is just amazing!! I couldn't say thank you enough to the store, for how many times they helped me with anything under the sun. I'm hard on gear, and it just seems i always come out of there with a big smile, like i just hit the "that was easy button". Thanks especially to cody, what a class act!!!

Elk, moon phase and the Rut

I would far rather have cooler temps during the rut than have the moon at any phase. Good below average cool temps in the mornings is the ticket. Conversely, hot weather during the rut equals a bad deal.

    Just want to vent

We've got the fairest system out there in my opinion. 6 bull tags in 9 years, but i put in for the worst hunts only.

    2016 Pronghorn tags..........

Very nice, after waiting that long I would rather see you guys get a tag than me. Seriously. I've had 2 tags in 25 years, and feel lucky for those 2.

Finally drew a 3a/3c early archery bull tag

Congrats on the tag. Lots of Bulls, fun unit to be in for sure. You will get several opportunities at Bulls. I shot my first bull there with a bow. Went 305. One of my favorite memories. Bulls get call shy fast there. Good luck!!

Nevada proposing to ban Trail Cameras

Well said and exactly my point. The guys with the time like guides, have the time to figure out the animal instead of just looking at a pic of a big critter. Guides by definition have the time it takes to make the cam pic worth something. My point exactly.

Nevada proposing to ban Trail Cameras

Good ole str8 at it again. There's guys using muzzle loaders on rifle hunts, and there's guys still using 30-30's without scopes still. There's guys using traditional bows instead of compounds still. There's guy's using archery equipment during rifle hunts still. I wish i had a bad a$$ super rifle, but i don't have one. I wish i had a compound bow that wasn't 10 years old, but i don't. Point being there's tons of angles to increase your chances in the hunting game, and people tend to pick the instrument or avenue of choice to do just that. Cameras are just one tool that can be utilized or not to increase ones chances in the field, that's it. If your lucky you have all the tools at your disposal, of which i don't. Pics of animals on a cam do nothing without having a ton of disposable time on your hands to do the research it takes to make the camera pic worth even looking at. What i mean by this is the only way a camera pic paid off for us was spending an embarrassing amount of time figuring out the critter we got the pic of. Without having spent that embarrassing amount of time figuring out what the pic actually meant the cams are worthless without pure luck. Even with thousands spent on a pic and hundreds of hours doing the research in the field figuring out the animal half the time the animal still wins. News flash str8, there are no tips or tactics i've learned in hunting that are worth the paper they are written on, or for cams the tree its hung on. Hunting has been hyped into the ground with tips and tactics, and magical potions. IT ALL BOILS DOWN TO ONE THING AND THAT'S TIME SPENT IN THE FIELD DOING RESEARCH, boots on the ground so to speak. The animals are where you find them, end of story. We've had pics of many animals that we would love to harvest, but with out many many trips and hours spent figuring the critter out, the pic is totally worthless other than some goose bumps. All the guys out there looking for magical potions and listening to tips and tactics are totally waisting their time trust me. All that's a smoke screen to get to your wallet. Just get out in the field and you will find the tips and tactic was being just that, being in the field at the end of the day only. It's not rocket science as others would claim, but just a smoke show with mirrors belonging in the fair!!! Cameras are worthless without time in my opinion. The only tip or tactic i've learned worth anything in the least for any species being hunted in az is to be out there learning about your foe, and this includes the tactic of using cameras.

    Card Hit - 2016 style

I would say after an answer like that, that deserves forgiveness. I've never stole a cam but have made mistakes in the past and would hope someone forgave me like I asked for it. No ones perfect, that's for sure. Cams are like a girlfriend . Something you just can't mess with without permission. Nice post bc777 that must have been hard to do.
