I thought about posting a 389 bull i killed a couple of years ago with my bow, but stopped short because of how much time has gone by since then. Since i didnt post the pics right away for the info police, i figured i might be accused of using chemical weapons on the big boy, or even yet maybe i poached him in the velvet, then had the antlers stained with juniper varnish to the perfect color and then got a few photo shopped pics of him fresh in the field. I figured i would have to much explaining to do so i elected to not post.

Every bull i see gets me excited, so all bulls are big to me!!! When they r bugling i imagine every bull is a monster, right up till i see them. So know matter what size they are, for a moment in time every bull is big to me. What ever makes you happy, that's a big bull.

I think before you start voicing your opinion about someone's kill, and any legalities that go along with that kill, you should at least have the smallest clue what's going on, or know just a little bit about what your talking about. At least know something about it , and not just chime in to get your hands dirty, or just to smell up the room and run. It boils down to being secure with yourself, and when someone has to start stuff every time with regards to other people's stuff, it becomes blatantly obvious they are just in need of constant attention. I think what happened to the other guy that shot the big archery buck in unit 9 this year was disgusting by most peoples standards. Pulling up his record to see and disect reminded me of a lynch mob of thugs with a rope in their hand running after someone in the streets. I can only hope this doesn't get reversed someday on the ones that are so quick to grab the rope, and throw it up over the first solid branch they find. It's ok to be quiet when you know nothing , and it's ok to know nothing about something.

Some guys believe it or not don't want all the attention that comes from posting pics of their kills. They would rather be a fly on the wall so to speak. Why would anyone question the buck this post is about just because the guy didnt want to post a pic or brag about his kill. We don't post pics either and probably never will, its just not worth it, when there is always someone who has to jump into the post usually not knowing anything about anything, but instead just to stir the pot and inject uncertainty into the posters kill. It's just not worth it anymore, everyone's a know it all, or at least knows billy bob who gave them the real scoop on the kill. Bonecollector 777 congrats on your beautiful archery bull, we had that bull at less than 40 yards in the open several times on saturday morning of opening weekend screaming his head off, he sure looks good in person, and even better in your pics, great job!!!

That's it i found a guy in town that has one heck of a mix for just this situation. It has everything in one mix, snickers bars, sweet feed, deer cocain, corn,brown sugar, salt but it's flavored with acorns, and last but not least , green apples. i'm backing a dump truck right up to the park fence and unloading it all there. I almost forgot, on the label my buddy put it was produced for the cattle industry. Top off the pile with 3 cams and walla, instant 230 park deer . It's the only chance i have of getting one to jump the fence, and all i want is a pic anyways.

Who cares who found the buck, or watched the buck. i've been chasing coues deer for 20 years and have never seen a deer that big in my life. The only thing i wish was diff. is that i was the one shooting it. A huge congrats goes out to broc and the whole mossback crew. Just seeing one run across the road in the headlights would be enough excitement for me, let alone having the honor to harvest one. People can get as jealous as they want of mossback , but in the end they always get it done whether finding it themselves, or networking with other guides. If i had the tag i would do exactly the same in order to find a 1 in a million buck like that. If most people knew what it takes to find a buck even 25 inches smaller than that, they would sit there in awe instead of stewing over who found it or what tag it was killed on. Now if i could only get one to run across the road in the middle of the night a little to close to the front bumper of the dodge at 30 plus, cause that's the only chance i'm going to have of harvesting a buck like that . lol

There's no controversy here, that's an awesome buck, and one that dreams are made of. I just have always wondered about those giant deer killed and filmed over the years up there . Animals move a lot in their everyday cycles, and most people know that. I would bet the buck was killed fair and square and would caution people jumping to conclusions as well. The dude that killed the buck pulled off something i have thought about for years, and that's getting one of those elusive park beasts when he makes a mistake jumping the fence. That will be the biggest buck killed south of the ditch this year with any weapon. What an awesome buck, and what an awesome job. Anything other than praise is unjustified.

I've been hearing about some of the bucks in unit 9 in the park for years. I've driven into the park a couple times just to get lucky enough to see one of these beasts. They all seem to be off the road that goes along the rim. Does anyone else have any photos of bucks from 9 in the park from past years, i would love to see them. I remember 5 years ago or so a pic floating around of a super stud in the park. Post up some pics of big 9 park bucks please if anyone has any. Has anyone else ever heard of any other bucks killed in 9 that were also seen in the park previously, i'm curious if they jump the fence very often.

What a buck!!! I'm at a loss for words , especially if it's not from the strip or kaibab.

Had another 1 stolen this weekend, happens every year up there anywhere in unit 23 or 22. there seems to be a very high concentration of dishonest people up in that neck of the woods. None of mine have ever been on water that have been stolen and usually involve a decent hike. This weekends camera was set for elk in the canyon creek area, for my brothers up and coming elk hunt. It must be nice to be such a loser as to not have any conscience like these thieves. Lots of very pathetic hunters sharing the woods with us these days!!!

I treed 2 good sized bears this year alone by stalking in close and then jumping out of the bushes at the last second screaming and waiving my hands with nothing but a fishing pole in my hand. The only dangerous bears live in new mexico, and that's only cause they are extra curious, ive found. I have made a habit out of charging bears when i can get in close, and scare them good and real quick. Fun stuff.

Gwhunter sorry to hear about break in. I was broken into in 2007 at my house. The thieves stayed in my house and ate lots of taco bell and even drank 4 beers while they plundered my belongings. Lost several guns and my 12000 dollar entertainment system including a 73 inch tv.On top of all this they also got my 660 grizzly quad from the garage. This stuff makes you feel so violated and the peaceful feeling i had at my home took a while to come back. The good new is that they caught the thief about 3 months later and i got my quad back, but no guns. It was awesome to help in the prosecution of the thief as he received 10 years for the offense. Even though i had the last laugh it still sucked. Dont give up hope you might get a gun or 2 back!!!
