I agree with 12345, leave it a little frozen after thawing it in the fridge. Fill a bucket with ice cold water and put your grinder pays in it so they are cold and process the meat as quickly as possible and re freeze it. You should be fine after that.

First of all I want to thank Doug and Neil over at camera land for their great customer service. I took advantage of the Labor Day weekend sale of a Viper Hs 16x44 rifle scope for $399.99 when I called I didn't have all the funds to purchase the scope at the moment, but they agreed to wait for my check from work to clear 2 days after the sale ended, and I am now the owner of a scope. These guys are terrific I was very pleased with how they took care of me. Thanks guys. Now for my questions regarding mounting the scope, I have a Remington 700 in .270 what would be my best option for rings to hold the Viper HS 4-16x44 with 30 mm tubes. I would greatly appreciate any feed back on items you have used and the experience you have had with different rings? Another item that I would be installing in my rifle is a bipod stand. Never have used one in my rifles so I have no hands on experiences with any. What would be my best buy for the money on a Bipod. Should I lean towards a certain product? I have heard Harris products are good? Any feedback would be great for me. Thank you Mark

Thanks guys. I think im going with the Talleys and a Harris is bipod. I've read good reviews on both. Can't wait to go out to the range.

I work for a casino in the Tucson area and I pay $30 per paycheck for health care for my self, I asked about what would happen with obamacare and their response was in clear. My health care goes in to effect the 1st of October so I'll see what happens then. Hopefully I don't have to pay more.

Advice Please - Wary, Mature Coues Bucks
parrita58 replied to CouesPursuit's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Loose the tree stand and setup a blind.....spray it, spray yourself, hang tight and wait for the shot. Would take the angle shot away and would most likely give you better coverage......good luck and make it happen. Don't forget to post some pictures. By the way that is a great looking buck. -
Saw you at sportsmens warehouse in Tucson at 4:15 today

Thanks guys....good luck to all you archery hunters keep them arrows flying....hopefully I'll paint one of mine bright red this week....

Prayers for you and your wife Tony.

I have only been a member of this site for almost a year now. I check the site 6~10 times a day. It's the best site for as hunting out there and I have seen Tony post many things in my time being heart. I am sorry to hear you have to sell some of your hunting and fishing gear. I hope you get thru with your situation fast in a great manner. Hopefully I can buy some stuff from you when you post more stiff. That is very generous of you to give 5% back to the site. God bless

Who's Not Afraid to Hunt Down South?
parrita58 replied to John O's topic in Bowhunting for Coues Deer
Born and raised in nogales hunted the south units for the past 6 years and thank God never have had a problem. Twice have bumped into people crossing the border illegally gave them some of my water and offered them a burrito and they kept walking there way and I kept hunting. -
Will you ship? If so I'll take it off your hands ASAP

That is some great footage. Love that 10 year old big horn hunt, can't get any better than that. Looking forward on watching some more videos in the future.
