My wife had 24b this year and she had two opportunities to shoot bucks that were bigger than anything i had killed just cause you dont see deer everyday or a big buck everyday doesnt make it a trash unit you get out what you put in there are trophy class animals all throughout the state do you think on a strip tag you see giant bucks everyday negative spend ur time in the binos and not riding the atv and the odds get raised we went to the same spot everyday for 5the days we were there and seen deer everyday watched people through my binos drive right pass deer never even knew they were there.

I know new mexicos rules the two point with eye gaurds is a legal animal which in turn leaves the 109 buck and that gene pool open for grabs a mature deer is recognizable i have harvested small deer in my life and im not ashamed of them but as anything in life i try to progress i think juniors should be excluded from the rule to avoid discouragement but i know i have a 14 year old boy with a 24a mule deer tag and i will not let him tag a spike i have been scouting and there are plenty of deer three or better and if we come home empty handed then he learned what to hunt is hunting is not about killing

If u all are realy meat hunters put in for a mule deer tag they are twice the body size and then even there it should be three point or bigger

Game and fish is here to manage wildlife populations if they issue me a tag as long as another humans life is not endangered i should as a free american be able to use that tag how i see fit whether over bait or a mile away with a 50 cal my choice.

Their plan is simple are strength is in are numbers and all being on the same page by causing contraversy and segregating hunters to what kind of weapon we use they are gaining control i dont know if you have ever attended their public meetings on similar issues but the game they play is they will have one with 500 people there so they run the meeting out of time schedule another one there is only 350 people who show up to that meeting still being enough to get there attention they schedule another one this time only 50 people show then they say well you dont have enough support on this issue these are factual tactics used in the past are strength are in are numbers hunters need reunite get that common respect for each other or are opposers will win even the political side of this issue is about numbers

You know i think its pretty sad that people who share the same passion for hunting bash on each other we all face the same front that enviromentalists dont want us to hunt so put aside the oetty kid games and look at the real issue we all love hunt no matter how we do it and there are groups trying control how and if we have choice so pack together and fight for what we love to do

The rules clearly state that salt is not bait but i agree with the prior the governor needs the hunters votes in this state and it will probably get shot downthere and if it does go through hunt trails and scrapes they are more productive anyways

From what I just read on the new rule making three items were not included water,salt or salt based products for the livestock industry,
